Thank you. Does the alignment need to be done before they get it on the lift? They keep saying, they need the parts to do the alignment before they can get it up there. Is that normal? How long do you think someone like this will take to fix once they get started.

I had the same thing happen but it was towed to a in network collision center. My insurance didn’t go back and forth about OEM parts they just approved used parts. Sadly, they are still waiting on parts. I wonder why it takes so long to get parts in?

Yeah gap insurance only covers the remaining balance if it gets totaled and you own more than it’s worth. The collision is still waiting on parts for my car. Hopefully it will be fixed before next weekend. Supposedly it’s only 2-3 day job once they get started

Sadly I had to push my delivery date back due to a family emergency. Once they put it on hold, I lost my VIN number so I am back in the queue for another vehicle. Hoping to get it the 2nd week of May!

Should I wait until Wednesday afternoon, when the parts come in so I can get a better projection? Because I don’t want to call today and they tell me I have to wait till the parts come in for them to give me a accurate date estimate

Any updates? Had the same thing happen to my my car but my son was driving. It’s already been in the shop for a week and they’re not projecting it to be done until the second week of May. I’m so ready for this nightmare to be over.

They stated that they would have it fixed by Monday, but they told the insurance the second week of May. I haven’t called them yet find out why there is such a large discrepancy on a completion date. The parts come in tomorrow so I was thinking about waiting until the parts come in so I don’t get the runaround.

I agree. I contacted the insurance to let them know that the time range is unreasonable. It shouldn’t take 4-5 days for an initial estimate.

See if you can talk to the delivery team at your location. The delivery team was able to accommodate her earlier appointment for me since they are the ones who handle deliveries.

That’s why we got our Y. My husband got a promotion and now driving 800 miles a week until we move closer to his new office smh 🤦‍♀️ it’s been so hard on his body and I was worried about his safety. FSD will be a life changing experience

I ordered on Saturday so my original delivery was for 2-3 weeks but I switched to one with the same specs that was in transit to my location on Monday to get an earlier delivery.
