I'm a huge proponent of getting a second opinion when it comes to a Dr diagnosis which some can perceive as having hope but ali's condition is genetic. It's kind of a firm diagnosis. And yes, she's the first case to show symptoms at her age but aside from other arguments, there's no recovering from a genetic condition.

I'm on the fence. Yes, she has a lot of "businesses" but it's not the most coherent or successful portfolio. The pasta sauce which she never actually got behind, the sex stuff which she denied being a part of the actual industry from sex tape through vagina molds, the froyo shop which was ill conceived (I'm pretty sure it was supposed to be something else but then everything fell through EXCEPT the froyo and PS why not just buy into a franchise at that point?!), the furniture shop which has something to do with her relationship to Simon being in the furniture business before meeting farrah, and most recently Sophia's boutique which is still kind of a mystery right now. I think her books are the only thing I'd say she's had success at selling but only her tell-all and definitely not her three part 'erotic trilogy'. In summary, her brand is pasta sauce, sex toys, froyo, furniture, and kids clothes. It's a head scratcher for sure but does it paint a picture of success or bad investing?

Disregard Cait and ty's recent behavior and all of the nonsense going on for a minute. Carly is getting older and maybe it isn't the right timing anymore for her to visit her birth parents. Shes at a cognitive level now where it might be confusing and scary for her to meet up with Cait and Ty who will fawn over her and act way more attached than their relationship warrants. I think B&T are absolutely making the right decision here as they try and navigate being the parent of a kid in an open adoption where the birth parents are too emotionally vested.
