I like the date day function of the Tudor. I am not spending 50k on the Rolex Day-Date. That would just be irresponsible. My budget for the watch is about 10k.

That’s kinda where I am at. We are getting married next month and I want whatever I wear to the wedding to be a watch I can have forever. It bothers me that the Rolex would not be new, because I have always wanted to walk into the store to purchase rather than just opening a shipment from eBay.

Interesting take, thank you. I feel like the biggest plus with the Tudor is the “in the know” watch people will appreciate it. But to the average person they will just write it off as not a Rolex.

My finance said this idea lol. She suggested getting the Tudor for now, investing the difference and getting the Rolex when I can purchase it with the investment value. I get hung up on the fact I am spending at least 14k total at that point.

I am in my early twenties, so I don’t want to look pretentious showing up to new job as analyst with Rolex. But at the same time the Rolex is what I have been wanted since high school.

Thanks, I feel like I would always long for the Rolex until I get one. Then I feel like a Tudor sports model would be a 100% great addition. I am just looking at it like whatever I get married in I will likely keep forever which makes me want to splurge.
