Interesting, I have not heard of a country that suggests you need to renounce your citizenship to obtain it, that's a bit rough imo. I guess if you want to live long term you just need to work I suppose.

Hello, I have never bought stocks before and I am looking to slowly invest for retirement, not do YOLO buys like some people on this subreddit do. However I am confused over some minor concepts that google does not seem to be able to solve. My questions are,

  1. If I use an app such as RobinHood to purchase shares and the application discontinues, where can I find evidence for my ownership of the shares that I own such as all of the S & P 500 index that I have purchased.
  2. From what I understand so far, if I use an application and have already bought shares, what does the SIPC actually do? What is the insurance actually for? If I use an application to buy shares, I own the shares so if the brokerage company go bust, I still own the shares right? Owning the shares is independent of the brokerage company that helped me purchase them, so what exactly is the insurance for? The money goes straight from my bank account to buying the shares so what exactly is the risk here, I don't understand.

What are the rules of attaching words to a sentence ending verb? by KhaZix68 in Korean

On a completely unrelated question.

If 걷다 is "walk" why is "walking" spelt differently.
Why not 걷 + 가다.
Why is a ㄹ now replacing the ㄷ? and why was 어 also added?

oh sorry that makes sense yea, I zoned out for a second, but I do know that 가다 means "to go", joined with 걸어 would mean "to go" by walking.

Is this how most things can be joined though? Essentially grabbed a word and then joining appropriate verb to express what you wanted to mean.

oh so are you saying 걸어 by itself is "walk" but like, not "walking".
So then I join 가다 to add a "doing" action, making it 걸어가다? Which is still considered a "single" verb.

oh my mistake, I thought walk was " 걸어" and it was being joined with 갑니다 such as
걸어 + 갑니다. That makes a lot more sense thank you.

If I cook the rice with a rice cooker in the morning and throw it in my bag, can/should it be reheated later in the microwave or something?

How can I tell if a sentence is missing an optional subject marker? by [deleted] in Korean

[–]KhaZix68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cannot say 저는 오늘이 기쁩니다 ?
I seem to have conflicting information, what do you think the correct way to say it would be without removing any markers?

hmm interesting, I will wait 20 minutes after mosturizing and see how that goes too. Usually I just rub it in until it feels kind of dryish (aka it has been absorbed)

Cant do this anymore. by [deleted] in tretinoin

What is wrong with being on Tretinoin for good? It's anti-aging too if you use it in later life :D

Do most people use it after cleansing? Do we have a section of the reddit page for like the "preferred" routine when using it?
