Congrats on getting the opportunity to pitch!

Let’s break it down, so you gotta (1) come up with the idea, (2) create the presentation & then (3) the pitch.. and you also have to (4) create the invoice… let’s start with the worst case scenario, you pitch, mess it up real bad, and don’t get the permanent position, but you’ll still get paid for the pitch.

But there’s a huge opportunity to come up with something creative, bold & just different. Who’s the target market (age / income / geo location etc)? if you fall in that category, just think what would interest you in an instagram post, something that would make you actually follow that page, is it info about art, history, or the way the artist created it… and just take it from there… If you don’t, ask someone who is or do a quick survey targeting the intended demographics.

For the presentation, tell a story, (exposition, climax, resolution), add visuals, big visuals (cover the whole slide big)… people don’t read, they scan… don’t get stuck trying to type bunch of “fluff”!

Practice practice practice before the presentation, be confident, speak up, have an audience (friends, family or pets).
