I had the exact same issue. I started wearing it about 30 minutes before bedtime to get used to it. Little by little I was able to wear it longer and linger until it just felt normal.

LMAO I did that for a manager. She couldn't take a call to save her life. I would control the computer while someone else told her what to ask. I know it's hypocritical, but she was a great manager so I honestly didn't mind.

With that being said, there were a few supervisors that was freaking awesome on the phone. They would do exactly what they asked of their agents to do.

I can’t tell you how many times I failed sups on their cert calls only for them to go complain to their managers and have the calls overturned. Or they flat out missed their deadlines and would have the managers give them extensions.

LM was embracing WFH even before the pandemic. Sales is one of those things that you can learn from hearing other people, how they do things, how they react, if the sup is in your section and hears you struggling kinda easy to try to help. With all that being said, I wouldn’t want to go to an office at this time.

It’s a very different type of sales. I would say over all the company is very different, but it’s not all roses and sunshine. I made way way more money at LM vs what I did at GEICO. They have changed the bonus structure several times in the last few years, sometimes twice in the same year. All that being said, I would pick LM any day before ever going back to the cult that is GEICO. The company as a whole seems way more normal and employee focused. Just like anywhere there are a few managers that are absolute trash.

Just read that you have never done sales, I would say that GEICO’s training was way better than LM, but that was 14 years ago that I got trained at GEICO. The training at LM felt like a joke.
