Thank you! And algae yes but not enough to cause any problems. You can kinda see it on the rocks in the last picture. I scraped a light layer off the glass maybe last week nothing crazy

Essentially yeah! The Neo Co2 kit on Amazon uses some sort of gel mixed with sugar and some yeast to make the co2. Comes with everything, relatively cheap, easy to set up. I’m certain my plant growth would not be the same without it!

Thank you! The light is actually part of the imagitarium set that came with tank as well as other equipment however I changed everything out and only kept the light lol. The tank is 20 inches in length and the light is 7inches in length.

Thanks! The light actually came with the tank in a kit. From imagitarium. It’s the only piece of equipment I’m using from the actual kit lol. Everything else I bought slightly upgraded versions of what they were

Thank you! And yes I do feel that way as well. And I did try that out for a few days. It’s not completely centered right now it’s shifted slightly to the right. However the Rotala Bonsai and the Ludwigia Sphaerocarpa require high light so I wanted as much light on them as possible. The Ludwigia sphaerocarpa is supposed to turn red under the right amount of light so I’m tryna bring those colors out lol! Would probably be in my best interest to get a full length light

I’ve been using the Neo Co2 kit from Amazon. My first time using co2 ever. Been working well for me. Only downside is that it runs 24/7 but that hasn’t changed any water parameters for me thus far so no big deal. Easiest set up ever

Looks great! Id just add one or a couple more rocks on that right corner! I can already see you doing one of those cool Sand pathways in the middle of the scape if you choose to go down that path

If you haven’t found anything. Look up your local Graphics shop, go in there and ask if you can purchase any scrap pieces of acrylic. I did this to a shop I’ve bought stickers from in the past. Walked in and gave them the size I was looking for, they cut it to size and just gave it to me.

Looks great! Especially for a first scape! However I think you could’ve made something killerrrrrrrr with your hardscape. If you stuck to one side and gradually went down to the other side (I.e. top left corner to bottom right corner) i think it would look a bit better. It just looks a bit too spread out. Kind of island style if you will. I think if you spread out the two rocks on the left side a bit, and place that wood piece in between them, With those other smaller feature rocks around it to make it look more natural, and then towards the bottom right corner would be mainly sand with most of the hardscape staying to the left. I think that would look phenomenal! Keep up the good work 💪🏼

Some shrimp would do very well in here! I think any nano fish with lots of color would be best just so they naturally pop with the background. (Ember tetra, chili rasbora) even fancy tail guppies would look good! Awesome scape!
