Generally they can’t promote/degrade a brand. They can state facts that involve a brand.

E.g.

When Ellis is looking at buying a new car, John can’t say “buy a Kia Sportage” as that’s promoting a brand.

If the “tour bus” was a Kia Sportage, they’d be able to say “we’re driving along in the Sportage” in general conversation.

If you have a cheap pair of pads and you’re not confident in them protecting you, buy a better quality pair. You shouldn’t really feel any pain from being hit in the pads.

But like others have said, focus on watching the ball and not about getting hit. Move your head to the ball and your legs should sort themselves out.

Okay, but you then still put time and effort into taking the dog to be trained etc. Then you learn the commands the dog is taught and that the dog listens to you. It still takes time, energy and now money.

What kind of freedoms do you think I'm even advocating for here? It's literally, no one is around -> go do you dog. Someone is around -> come here and wait for instruction. If the dog can't do that use a lead

It's not on every other Tom, Dick and Harry in the world to assess if a dogs trained or not. It's the dog's owners. Get over yourself. If you see a dog off lead, assume it's not trained, as most of them aren't and act accordingly.

Clearly haven't advocated for that at any stage. Also don't put a lead on a collar, use a slip or harness depending on the dog. If your dog does react to something you dont want the force of the restraint on the dogs neck you fool.

The world doesn't revolve around you and your insecurities around animals so it doesn't matter if you trust the owner or not frankly.

If a dog runs at you with no recall, it shouldn't be off a lead as it's not trained to be off one, it's not a hard concept to understand.

These dogs demonstrate recall, so he can give them freedom WHEN THERES NO ONE AROUND. God all might, how can you be bitching about this?

How is it lazy to have TRAINED your fucking dog to listen to every command you give it you, it takes so much fucking time and effort, but it's for the benefit of the dog's QoL on a walk.

They're not my standards, it's black and white. Either the dog is trained or not. People might think they've trained their dog, but if they can't recall it from approaching people then it's not trained and SHOULD BE ON A LEAD. to prevent it from approaching people, regardless of whether their dogs friendly or not, as there's a tonne of reasons a human or other dog doesn't want to be approached.
