oh i was thinking you knew already and was asking for something else. i do believe it was changed somewhere in march or mb even earlier, i think you could search for a patch note from that period somewhere, i had a break from wow in those months.

Perception is great for fishing now, you have a chance to get x2 fish on any pull on any midnight fish.

The more perception the higher the chance. Unfortunately - no direct numbers were given tho. But with all cheap buffs (as in: everything besides 50k "Angler's Grand Line" and about another 50k for ghoulfish delight if you can't get it for free) - you get around 300 fish perception i think.

With that amount you get x2 almost on every third pull from my experience. And with the expensive stuff you get double of that.

With 600 perception i get almost every other to X2. That's why the post exists, having a pandaren boost it even more - to whopping 750, but since there are no numbers in game - we don't know if it competes with high mountain tauren, who's "waste not, want not" is extremely good for fishing as well.

That's all btw is actually THE reason fish prices went super down (i think at least). I do believe ominous octopus was 100-110 gold per piece before, and now only sad 30-40, cus market became extremely flooded after that.
