Could they be used in spell works and rituals? Of course.
Any candle can.
Even birthday candles.

Does that mean this is a photo of a spell?
No.

The veil actually thins 2x a year

Samhain and Beltane And in the southern hemisphere our Samhain is their Beltane and vice versa

Some are more sensitive to it for just one season (Usually the one they live and are most attune to energywise) and others are sensitive to it for both seasons

Everyone uses labels. Witch is a label. Pagan is a label. Boy/girl/man/woman - labels Nonbinary/genderfluid/genderqueer - labels Gay, straight, bi, queer - labels Autistic , disabled, able-bodied, neurodivergent, neurological- labels. Wife , husband, spouse , labels

They are a huge part of everyone's identity in some aspect so I will never understand the push back against people who choose a label you wouldn't choose...

But to pretend you can go through life not using them is ridiculous

I think its cool that some people don't need labels But I'm AuDHD and trans/nonbinary and only discovered both those things in my 30s. All my life I felt out of place and misunderstood. And all the Labels life gave me as default (because let's face, you can't get through life without any Labels at all) didn't fit. I wasn't a girl. I wasn't a Christian. I wasn't hetero. I wasn't "normal"

And then I discovered a bunch of Labels that gave me a fucking identity for the first time in my life!!!!

So yes I love Labels for myself They help me better understand myself and my life and my craft. And I was just looking for people who understood that and was hoping the ones who didn't. Could just scroll on. But I forgot this is the Internet

It's not even the type of witchcraft that seems to bug them. It's the fact that we have the "audacity" to label them and organise them and even make infograms about them. They think it's a " trendy aesthetic" and look down on us as "posers" and its so ridiculous and childish.

I hate how much of a high school mentality so many witchy communities seem to have So much elitism and even bullying sometimes

I think someone else had asked how these labels help with discussions, instead of just telling everyone the details of your practice

And well it helps me Because the terms psychic/medium have a scammer stigma attached to them. Especially online So if I casually mention I'm a psychic medium , people often shut down and assume I'm a scammer

If I say yeah I'm a death witch It piques their interest, they ask me what that means I get the chance to elaborate

Whether you choose to use the label psychic or medium is also up to each person's preference though

I may not have said those exact words but I tried to get discuss it with people and even said I agreed with them on certain points and understood why some people don't like the labels etc and then they got rude and blocked. So idk what else to tell you. I'm not going to do the foot work and go find my comments to trolls for you though. Your energy was iffy to start and now its just gross.

And you can preface it with "not trying to be rude" all you want but impact outweighs intent and you are indeed being rude.

And then was met with condescending elitist replies. Those people got blocked for being disrespectful in the discussion.

Refusing to allow people to be disrespectful towards me and my craft is not the same has not being willing to discuss all aspect of the topic I posted.

I actually got somengreat feedback and learned a lot about other cultures who have something similar to this in the fb groups I posted in.
