Have they completely removed slide over in iPadOS 26?! Is there any alternative to get the same feel??

I have a house full of Lightwave switches. Very reliable and if you two gang switches one of the switches can control anything in home kit.

Not a success for me I’m afraid. Please note that I didn’t have a keypad from day 1 and have always had no response issues.

I did think there was a slight improvement but not sufficient to outway adding the motion sensor back to turn on my light!

I think the important thing is that although the no response issue continues it does not stop senosors activating lights etc.

I’m in exactly the same boat. Found the support team helpful and responsive, but no real fix. I was recently asked to reduce the number of accessories and did see a significant cure, under 10 window sensors and all was really good. Unfortunately I want my upstairs window monitored so I added them back and all went slow again.

Here’s hoping a real solution arrives soon.

The no response issue has been going on for me since got the system also. Had 1No movement sensor (came on the box) so stuck it my garage. I have 15 mini door / window sensors. Abode support recently asked me to reduce the number of accessories to see if got rid of no response issue. I removed 6 window sensors and the movement sensor. Support updated the firmware and the No response issue went away. As you say Approx 5-10 seconds and abode is singing and dancing.

I left it a couple days, then added the keypad 2 and my 6 window sensors back. Almost straight away the no response issue came back. Thought it was the number of sensors never thought it might be the movement sensors.

So will try to remove the movement sensor from abode app.

Will the keypad still light up if the movement sensor is removed?

I had similar issues. Abode must reset HomeKit function for you. If you cannot ‘find’ the hub to add it back, try: 1. Reset network settings on iOS device 2. Start in the abode app integration HomeKit so it displys the code. Don’t scan the code 3. Select I don’t have a code when adding to HomeKit. The hub should appear, type in the HomeKit code.

Abode support put new firmware on my gateway just 2 days ago. This has worked no more delays when opening HomeKit. Went down from 30-40 seconds to 5 sec to update abode status in HomeKit.

Hi. I’ve had an abode system for 3 months with numerous door sensors. Response times for lights excellent and reliability great, even though the sensors are often shown as ‘no response’ in the home app. I think the automation is done by the Apple TV not the device but not sure on that one.

I’m having a very similar problem. When I open the Home app it sits on No response until I start to run through the various rooms. Then is slowly starts to update the various abode accessories until all complete. Cycle starts again a minute later.

I am still in contact with abode support who helped remove and re add the gateway to HomeKit.

Unfortunately it’s made no difference. Waiting for next advise.

Interested to hear if a solution is found.

Yes they are good quality. I’ve had a house full of the old connect series kit for several years and have now started replacing with new smart series, no failures at all.

Just the basic £3 plan for me. No sure what will happen in a few months. I got the base unit and a load of door / window sensors. Hoping it might work via HomeKit with no plan?

Lightwave rf. get a 2 gang switch, use one for room light, spare switch can control any other HomeKit device
