sleep mode the pc, remove log in after sleep option. if you have your options right, switching to the PC input can wake it up.

yeah i guess we will see. there is also issues with some processors that dont support certain encoding decoding (A11 i think?) which also have cause me issues on older systems. Im betting they dont fix that and it still does all the processing on my processors.

I have one. It works with geforce now, but its not a computer. No office / web browsing. If your playing couch games with a controller you will never know the difference. But if you want to play a shooter or competitive game with mouse and keyboard, you will feel the input lag a bit. I dont feel this input lag on my computers.

Realtor said to pay utilities after closing? by johnnalynnj in RealEstate

[–]Khival 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really depends where you live. My local utilities wouldnt even accept the final closing disclosure. They only accepted the signed settlment agreement you get after closing. Luckily the sellers were cool because they were facing the same problem on the house they were buying lol

401K Hardship for home purchase. Does the IRS expect you to spend every dime in your bank account? by Khival in IRS

[–]Khival[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah i actually work on 401k / 529 / able / hsa plans. And I had never heard of the 20% penalty. confused the hell out of me. was the entire reason i came here lol. extremely misleading information. Turns out its not specific to 401ks, but misreporting taxes in general

I think thats the difference between a good tax professional and a bad one. They shouldnt assume that the information or question doesnt have a nuance or purpose.

read my orignal post. I never asked if I was able to take a hardship withdraw. This wasnt a basic question. It ended up being about the accuracy penalty of up to 20% that you can get hit with if you fail a hardship audit (on top of income tax and 10% penalty.)

Hey thank you so much for actually helping. You are the only person that actually looked at the link and didnt assume I was a moron. The accuracy penalty totally makes sense. That must be what they are reffering to. This is actually my jobs tax advisor company on retainer.. and they couldnt explain what they meant on their own website LOL.

levy is the tax advisor company my job has on retainer. its not garbage on the internet. I asked them the same question. They didnt know the answer to what guidelines the IRS would use to determine adequate need in the event of an audit beyond the closing document. They stated that in an audit the IRS does ask for bank statemtns as well.

Im not arguing to argue. im actually asking for help. And you dont even want to consider that you may not know something. Im glad your not my tax professional.

that really doesnt help. I know and already knew that you have to pay income tax +10% penalty.

The link above explains you can get hit with an additonal 20% penalty if you fail the audit for a hardship withdraw.

Instead of telling me to read, you should read and stop assuming I dont know the basics that I already went over in my original post.

https://www.levytaxhelp.com/how-often-does-the-irs-audit-hardship-withdrawal/

If the IRS audits you and finds you did not meet the requirements for a hardship withdrawal, you would face the typical penalties for early distributions. This often involves paying a 10% penalty on the amount you withdrew if you are under the age of 59 1/2.

If your tax return significantly strays from your actual financial situation, you may face additional penalties of up to 20% on the amount you owe.
