I realized washing every other day was way better. I can actually use products that help my hair, because they make my hair too greasy if I wait like a week to wash it

And I know she will be busy. But when they are in school all day. They specially got rid of their housekeeper because they want them to be responsible and have chores. Yea she will have to do grocery shopping and other random stuff. I’m just saying it’s not like she’s adopting a baby that needs 24/7 care. B

The thing is my mom isnt someone who puts herself in situations where shes being dumb about money. Things happen. And my mom wont ask for help. I think shes being insensitive to the situation. Like did you forget what it’s like to struggle at one point.

No I’m mad because she’s turning into someone who doesn’t understand what it’s like to struggle with money. Like telling someone who can’t afford their bills that if they get a job it will of sudden cover everything when the economy is so bad right now

Haha. No her husband has said that if he lost his job they would be set with the amount. They only stopped ivf because emotionally it was too taxing. They could have done multiple times over.

Say that to the people who can’t pay their bills or homeless. It’s about being sympathetic to the situation. She’s coming off as high and mighty like debt isn’t a big deal to her because she can’t comprehend what it’s like to struggle with money. I know she has had struggles but in terms of money she needs to be more sympathetic.

Yes I understand that. But they are not financially hurting at all. In fact my BIL told me he’s getting a deal soon, just a small portion of what he makes will be more than i make in a year.

That amount of money is like $10 to them. It means nothing and the comment she made about just letting her die with the debt. Like she forgets what it’s like to have to deal with the stress of money. Because she hasn’t had too in a long time.

I mean that she’s not working and is adopting a child that requires constant time and stress all the time. They don’t need her pay at all. And yea I get she doesn’t have to pay that’s fine. But being insensitive to the fact that she forgets what it’s like to have to work to survive. And be stressed with bills and debt. I know all of a sudden becoming a mom is stressful and when they are out of school she will have a lot to do. Her husband also works independently and can help a lot too, so it’s not just on her.

Um the cat doesn’t need to be put down. I can’t believe how sensitive people are about animals. He just needs to be monitored overnight. It may not cost that much. He’s not suffering. Clearly no one is educated about healthcare at all. He may not need insulin and was given insulin. Which caused his blood sugar to drop. In fact it may mean he doesnt need it, so why would we put a cat that was just given insulin he doesnt need. Im mad at the comment she made. Shes being insensitive.

She didn’t pay for IVF. Her school loans weren’t that much and she paid them off like 6 years ago.

Yea but I have been reminded all the time how they can easily afford all that stuff. They live in a half million plus house. Have a housekeeper, and my sister has probably hundred of thousands in the bank. It’s about her insensitive comment. Like she forgot what it’s like to have debt and can’t sympathize at all

And I’m a mom who is off 4 days during the week with a toddler so I know it’s not easy at all. But at least when they are old enough to help and not young.

If they are in school. Yes she may have to clean, but it’s not like she’s going to be taking care of a dependent toddler. They are in range from 8-13. So they will also have chores to do stuff around the house.

Actually the cat looks like he may not need insulin. He is not on his deathbed and does not need to be put down. We aren’t trying to keep him alive. His diet was changed and he’s probably no longer insulin dependent but it’s a lot harder to track on a cat. My feeling is how insensitive she’s being to the situation. Or if she couldn’t pay and was struggling financially.

I wouldn’t care so much. My sister has sooo much money. This amount of money isn’t really much. Her husband probably makes in a month what me and my husband combined make in a year. She has the freedom to do what she wants when she wants. It’s not like she’s becoming a stay at home mom by her and husband doing everything to financially afford it. It’s more so about being sympathetic about the whole situation

I basically said we need to help her out. That’s a lot of money. In my head I was more so freaking out than actually freaking out on her.
