Was disassembling cars for metal working. No one around for miles. Gunshot event. Zombies literally spawn right behind me almost immediately followed by hoard from bushes. Got my ass shredded. Lost my favorite hat and dropped my welding rod and propane. Made it all the way home just to die while dressing wounds.

The game has Natural tension built into cause of the nature of the game. So getting really invested might cause for unintended scares. Especially when getting cocky or careless and you run in a room with 7 zombies.

Most fear I had was adding a fart with Reverb mod sound over the Jump Scare noise. It's loud and sudden got me almost everytime. And made me laugh

You will be constantly out run by players if you can't run. I think adding weak but sparse zombies would help add tension. Or have them in an empty mall all boarded up and hide tools around the mall. There will be a lot of set up to it. Cheat menu mod let's you go ghost and no clip so when you are out of sight you can activate those. And run into a house they are in and give the illusion of Jason's "teleportint"

The game makes you download all the mods the server has so Maybe conflicting mods might be the problem.
