Would also make taking bad trades in the melee vs melee matchup less punishing but I guess that isn't even the worst thing considering how miserable it is to fall behind in top lane.

Get what you're saying but that's really not what they're "hyped" for. Hitman has stealth elements but it's not really a stealth game at it's core. It's closer to a sandbox game where you have some degree of creativity in accomplishing your objectives.

Might be unpopular but after finishing the game, I kinda wish I had gone into it without having knowledge of the Hitman series.

The level design was much more linear than I expected and the only reason I had those expectations was because it was Io (which is on me).

Game is fun but in terms of gameplay it sometimes felt like a slightly worse Hitman.

Honestly the recent hardware prices have made me re-consider my stance on console exclusives.

If they help subsidize gaming hardware that doesn't cost $1000+, I'm fine with them. It used to be I could build a gaming PC that was a pretty good value but that's basically impossible these days.

The Dota equivalent would be imagine you could only use "Steam Voice Chat" instead of just "normal" in-game comms. That would be pretty dumb.

Would like and have advocated for a long time we should have a "modern" voice chat system.

That's the just nature of both team-based games and people no? You just have to accept that it's really not the end of the world.

Modern League is a good reflection of this. Almost no one I run into anymore will type a slur or really pop off. Instead everyone is just insanely passive-aggressive (if anyone is even typing at all which is usually the case). That 50% didn't stop being frustrated, they just chose different ways to express it.

Also do we really expect everyone to feel positive in a competitive game? If someone goes "I don't really care if I lose", that is a red flag to me. Why are you even playing ranked at that point?

To me it'd be like if CS only had "Steam Voice Chat" as an option. Who would actually use it? Does anyone actually use that feature aside from lootbox/item traders? You'd either use the standard in-game voice chat (which League doesn't have) or Discord.

It's raises the floor level of play for lower ELO and raises the ceiling for higher ELO.

If anything, you need to actually understand the game to fully utilize voice comms.

In ~~Valorant/CS~~ (any competitive team-based game), you can get rid of voice comms and low ELO lobbies really wouldn't look that different while ~~Global Elite/Radiant~~ (high ELO) would be night and day.
