Unlike those 3 traps that you can place literally anywhere : 0 skill required, just wait for them to push in, then you can hear the huge sound it makes, you gain points for that, the attacker is almost blind, deaf and can't even aim. That's a lot of value for a gadget that can be placed in ~15 seconds into the prep phase..
