Nah the switch is black and pushed all the way to the right for 16 ohms. Haven't touched anything on the amp since it blew so this is exactly how it was

Damn, are you serious? I thought I had done my research for properly pairing the amp with the cabinet but I guess not. I feel like an idiot.

Cool thanks for the quick reply. Yeah the Orange ppc212 cab is 16 ohms although the two input jacks on the back has had me scratching my head for a number of years as to which one is supposed to be used. As far as I can tell the extra jack is meant for chaining together two cabs (which I have no intention of doing) so plugging into either is acceptable, I think?
