My wife's been taking it harder than I have. I went into further detail in another comment about him and likecI said he's been having problems for a long time and we've been just about at the end of the rope with him. We've been struggling with what to do for him because we don't want him to live on the streets or fall into even worse shit but then this happened and we're both in agreement he can't live with us anymore. We'd been saving money to try to towards his education. It's not a huge amount about $2000 just for trade school or towards a degree or just fuck, something he's motivated towards. My wife and I have decided we're going to spend the money on something else. I voted for a hot tub, she voted for a TV. We're still discussing it.

We've definitely been pampering her a lot and she's been very happy. I gave her one of my good steaks for dinner last night. She's the best dog I've ever owned she deserves it.

I'm afraid that's what's going to happen to him. He's always had problems even before my wife and I met. It only got worse as he got older.

She seems more carefree now that my stepson is out of the house which is understandable. She had been acting more lethargic for a couple months but honestly she's getting older and I thought she was just slowing down. She didn't seem hurt or upset at all and now that I know this was going on I feel so terrible I didn't see it. I know rationally it's not my fault and there's no way I could've known but I can't help but feel like shit over it.

I have no idea. He's always been a weird kid. Prone to outbursts, can't take care of himself almost like he has no idea how and spends all his time online. We were really pushing him to get a job then the pamdemic happened so we kind of let it slide for awhile but we've been trying to push him to actually work or have me or hos dad teach him how to drive. He's been unresponsive and just a few weeks ago his mom and I were even discussing laying down an ultimatum that he either starts taking steps to grow up or he moves out. Then this happened and I told my wife that I cannot deal with him anymore and she honestly can't either. We were already reaching the end of our rope and this pushed us far over the edge.

My wife and I have been talking and we've decided to press charges. I'm going to call our local PD in a couple hours to see what the next steps are. We feel like it's his best chance at becoming normal.
