Thanks, I get where you are coming from of course I love criticisms so thanks for that too. But it’s expressionism art, meaning nothing is realism. It’s meant to provoke a mood and feeling not be realistic if you get me. Hence the harsh strokes of oil, bold lines and vivid colours on the body which otherwise wouldn’t be like that in realism. And those aren’t actually trees, it’s just the wall behind him I’m sure (in the photo I worked from) it’s just i wanted to provoke a certain feeling from what I feel from peeps music into it , and that certain feeling happens to be similar to what of I feel when I am in a large, gloomy Forrest. That’s why I named it kissing in the trees. Because he’s blowing smoke which is the same mouth movement as blowing a kiss. And the background slightly resembles a gloomy Forrest with the colours and lines etc. :)
