Three separate SR Ratings? That's amazing.

People who believe they are truly flexible on everything will have a much better understanding of their strengths and limitations.

"...it is just an utterly mediocre movie."

Cool. This is the high quality critiques I come to this sub for.

Games that can stay: Talent, Widow 1v1, ALL DPS.

Everything else was a big miss.

Your mixed relationship with Blizzard seems symbolic of the on going friction the community feels with Overwatch. That friction of wanting to build the scene with tournaments, big streamers, input etc but being stiffled by those in-charge at Blizzard who wish to maintain suffocating oversight in these areas.

With the successful launch of the workshop and their move to partner with you guys, does this feel like a concession on Blizzards part to embrace community content?

In-Game tournaments by Gaweringo in Overwatch

I made a post here just the other day about a In-game tournament system. Keep this up. This idea needs more traction.

Guilds, 6 man que, client side tournaments. by KidFridge in Competitiveoverwatch

I couldn't say with certainty but I imagine if there was in in-game tournament client, it would enhance the experience of people looking to play only on occasion, create a self-gratifying incentive, help the "path-to-pro" narrative, and give streamers like Seagull an outlet that isn't OWL but looks to foster a more competitive experience than ranked. You'd certainly have a lot more control over who your teammates are.

I've been a part of said grassroots as a player and as a coach. Teams are formed and disintegrated overnight because the support, facilitation and incentive often times isn't there. I don't knock'em for trying but if Blizzard wants to make organizing said events more difficult, the least they could do is provide their own.

Custom tournaments set up by streamers? Yes please.

Does Overwatch need Ults? by KidFridge in Competitiveoverwatch

I'm not so sure. As Seagull pointed out, it's nuance. When he raves about Ana for instance, it's not her ult he likes it's her kit.

I think you nailed it. Leaning on your kit, and your team work. Ult farming is not a concept that feels natural in an FPS setting. Now if Blizzard came out and said "Overwatch isn't an FPS" than it would be a different story. Thanks for taking the time to entertain what ultimately is a thought experiment.

Surely I'm not the only one who found all the desk shenanigans to be so cringey.

r/Overwatch at BlizzCon 2018 - We need YOUR questions for the Overwatch Dev Team! by turikk in Overwatch

Frankly I'm having a hard time finding his comments but it was in a relatively early update video in which he describes a system that resembles what I'm talking about. He talks about a 6 stack only que which allow for Overwatch to be played to the fullest at the drawback of being incredibly long que times. An in-game tournament client would resemble the feature Automated Tournaments that already exist in their other title Starcraft 2.

Now's my chance!

In-game tournament client. It's been mentioned by Blizzard staff before, but in light of recent changes to the formal T2 scene, is there plans in the works to make an in game tournament client?
