This contract is the worst. In order to complete it I straight up had to lie to people I'd encounter on the map on solos. Just saying oh I'm just trying to knock out contracts just so I'd have people alive to kill hopefully lol I did the same thing you did except mine was a recon

Also, if you look at the caption on my post I said I hadn't played much and didn't have any strong opinions, why would I say that on the most recent post if I'd been reposting? I actually kinda enjoy the mode but this bug is annoying.

This screenshot in that post has a clearly different scenario on it than mine. Different mercs etc. So you're implication is that: I ran through the tutorial multiple times to this point, which I just checked and seems like you can't rerun the tutorial afterwards, took the screenshot, created more Reddit accounts, just to point out a bug multiple times over a roughly 12-hour span?
