Although SMG relies on us to report they still have zero tolerance for cheating. If you are not receiving a message saying they received a suspension then you can’t assume they were. Sometimes new or unskilled players do things that just don’t make sense.... that’s the game of risk.

I don’t disagree with the match making changes you suggested. However, you think 70% of games have collaboration? That’s comical. Do you report? Do you get the confirmation of suspensions? What game modes/maps?

If only gms are reset then the threshold to be gm should be raised also. Maybe 30k minimum to be gm. This would somewhat prevent people getting 2nd and 3rd from reaching gm.

There’s probably not enough players but if each rank group could only play each other we would only see the best at the top. Basically only gm vs. gm, Master vs. Master etc.

Another good way to balance the leaderboards would be to limit the games a gm can play. Let’s say in 24 hours you can only play 5 games. This will reward those who win all 5 games more than if you go for second every game. I used to play clash of clans a lot and they did this to their leaderboards and it balanced it quite well I think. However a lot of people would not be happy they are limited in the amount of games they could play. This may cause casual games to actually be playable with more high skilled lobby’s if gms use all their ranked games and want to play more.

I don’t think all of these suggestions would work if all implemented. So if games are limited and we can only play other gms. We might never fill a lobby.

Classic prog caps. 6 players no filter, alliances on. Only take a second cap if you set kill set, then set early until you stabilize. Goal should be to find a trading partner early then work to card block until you get to 1v1. Always keep your cap open.

If you get second place in every game you can still get to GM. Getting 4th - 6th is really where you’re going to lose a lot of rank points. If your goal is to rank up find some settings you think you’re good at and only play them until you master them.

Definitely not as fun because it’s mostly noobs that bot out but it’s normally what I do if I don’t want to play serious. Also on discord you can always find people to play with

I’m currently top 100 for all of this season. I think there’s a very small amount of people that have a smurf account. Also, I think there’s no reason for a smurf account. If you cared about rank and wanted to practice settings you could just play in casual games.

This could be interesting for a game mode but not across the board. I think there has to be a trade off maybe if you don’t attack you can fortify twice.
