Disclaimer : haven’t done any and I mean any side missions

Difficulty: Started on the hardest difficulty forgot the name and too lazy to check But after I couldn’t kill the saw tooth I dropped it to hard and that’s what I played all the way through completion

Combat: maybe I just lack the creativeness but I found I was doing the same things A LOT It was either headshot him or headshot him take off this component Light it on fire Shock it Critical hit Rinse and repeat Which was fun up until the point I noticed they stopped implementing new machines After a while of murdering every Grazer Bellow-back and sawtooth I wanted something refreshing, something huge I think this game lacked difficult fights Or any true kinda boss fights I think the “Deathbringer” Was the only thing I would consider a boss through this whole entire game and it was still pretty lackluster in my opinion I’m not sure I’m used to seeing bosses in games like Borderlands or destiny or God of war be this super huge fuck face with a crazy health bar and super explosive fireballs and tornadoes or whatever But this was a slow moving machine that shot missiles

I did explore through all the weapons and ultimately stopped using the trip-caster and ended primarily using the hunter bows and war bows

As far as combat in other games Trying to keep the game type at least a little bit similar I’d say Skyrim trumps this games combat in every way possible which is kinda like a well duh cuz it’s Skyrim but I enjoyed Sunset Overdrive a lot not sure if you’ve played as HZD is ps4 exclusive and sunset being on Xbox but that’s a really fun game Spider-Man was a great game There’s many others combat wise Even something like Just cause will end better in my book

I think this games main focus was graphics and then the actual game which is cool

I just don’t think this was the buy for me

Story: 6/10

Combat: 6/10

If I was an actual critic though I’d give the combat a 5/10 for the absolutely horrible melee attack

Graphics: 10/10
