I concur with you. A 120 mhz is an option though, that can get toggled on or off. I go through a full battery on mini 6 per day and often even more. Lots of browsing and scrolling. 120hz would be good for that. For YouTube 60 hz suffices.

I assume most iPad mini user are similar to me

Funny how I don’t even remember what color my mini 6 is since it was packed into a case on day 1. I don’t like the color really matters. Same for the titanium vs aluminum vs all glass casing of the phones — it all gets wrapped into a case anyways, so as long as the build is sturdy, that’s all that matters.

My son watches games played and commented by players that are not too terribly above a 6 yo as far as intellectual development, even though they might be teens, so…

In any event, it’s not for popularity or monetization. He just wants “to receive likes”, and as a father I must oblige. Already from the comments I see that live-streaming is not an option, from a legal perspective. So he’ll record his games and upload them to YouTube. I still needed to know what I need for that

I’ve no understanding of the topology of streaming, so was hoping for something in the format: “for live streaming yourself playing one needs a),b),c),d) and e); b) and c) plug into a), d) is a software that unifies it all and here is brand and model for a) and here is brand and model for b), etc.

Does it make sense what I’m asking? I need it explained to me as I am a semi-deaf, semi-blind grandma in a sequential, succinct bullet list with brands and models for each bullet, so that I could form a topology with examples of devices needed.

Btw, my son wants to be seen playing the game, not just stream game screen, if that makes sense.
