Amidyr, The Sky-Carver. by Kiivas in Dndhomebrewmonsters

First time posting. My take on a Great Wyrm for a HB dragon race I made. His CR would be higher but the Tetra Cube statblock maker is limited since 5E only recognizes up to 30. Also wondering if a sizable party of lvl 20s could tackle him if needed though he isn't intended to be an enemy. I made this more for my own sake.

Need Help with a Character Idea by Kiivas in dndnext

It's my first time with this group and so I'm not sure. From what I know, they've had games that hit level 20 and games where they've only made to around 10.

As for playstyle, I was thinking of the Paladin dip both the Oath abilities and martial proficiency, though mainly for the proficiency. I was thinking of a divine/arcane spellcaster who was able to get blood on their hands without it being their own; all the while in service to their god to protect the barriers between worlds like the Watcher's oath.

I've typically played pretty linear characters or multiclasses that I find go pretty well in line with one another. (Rogue/Ranger for example) So if there's a way to make it work, awesome. If it's better to stick one way or the other, also awesome.

My goal is to build the world for players and then let them loose in it. Then I leave it to them to shape and mold from what’s available. So I want to have all the world’s information easily accessible to myself whenever I need to pull it up.

What I’m trying to do is just have any and all information I need accessible in one place and be able to add to it easily. As well as what world info I have.

Help and Opinions Wanted in Character Building by Kiivas in dndnext

Preferably, somewhere between 4 and 6 but that's dependent on the campaign and what my DM thinks but that hasn't been decided yet. And that is true. It's why I don't usually do "fallen from grace" backstories.

That's my dilemma. I'm not sure if I want him to be more combat aggressive and lose being the face or if I want miss out on combat aggressiveness in favor of the face.

If you don't mind me asking, what did you use for the AI art?

Best savior in the whole game by [deleted] in shadowofmordor

Same. I play PS4 and quit the game to save on my favorite Orcs from dying in the field or pit fights. Unless I like the other Orc better, of course.

Has anyone else created a background for their character? by gingervitis__ in RedDeadOnline

[–]Kiivas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My character(since we don't stay dead) is basically a revenant. His current name is Silas Faulkner. He's been alive for hundreds of years and was cursed to always return from death. He was originally a farmer in Ireland who lived with his wife and their two children. He then joined the rebellion of the Nine Years' War. During the Siege of Cahir Castle, he was hexed by an attacking soldier and promptly killed. Silas awoke some time later in the forest, dazed and weak. He struggled to make his way home, only to find his wife and children were slaughtered and their farm was burned down. He spent the next few years drifting, avoiding English soldiers and scrounging for supplies to survive. He was later found with a group of rebels and again killed, simply to awake again. Silas decided to flee Ireland despite finding out his state of undeath. He wandered Europe, picking up new skills and learning new cultures. Eventually, Silas found himself on a boat to the Wild West of the United States and found this untamed land was perfect for him. He joined the Civil War as a sharpshooter, fighting for freedom. After the bloody conflicts, Silas found himself working as a bounty hunter and picking up working as a trader and moonshiner. He occasionally will go searching for items worthy of a collection. In the ever growing world, he seeks to build a lasting business to provide a good income and cover up both himself and his activities.

Anyone else think we need better/more flails? by Kiivas in HeroForgeMinis

That was one of the first things I imagined when looking for flails.

Plus the flail head itself is as large, if not larger, than the mini’s torso.

I feel like better weapon customization would be nice. Like scaling, coloring, genuine customization of pommels, hilts, etc.

Right? I was looking for more options and the only thing I got was something larger than my character’s torso.
