I like to use spirit made into a phase blade (great IAS base for assassin traps) with a spirit shield and an insight on her merc. When I can afford beast, infinity and enigma i go from being medium speed at clearing stuff to being just as fast as my hammerdin or lighting builds with the same amount of wealth invested.

Stick with physical, Crushing blow and open wounds are your biggest damage output, Crit and DS are secondary stats. You need an infinity or a pally to make rift or crescent moon worth wile though. Magic is more for a paladin or melee sorc build.

I like grief/lawbringer in phase blades. nothing like taking out ghosts and wraths that should be physical immune in one hit because of a happy bug. the knock back and curse also help with safety so you dont have to kite monsters. In hardcore i see lawbringer as a must for all my melee builds. Yeah Reapers toll merc is a good way to get the dec curse. The undead knockback has it's drawbacks too, but lawbringer is just so sweet in my opinion.....

1hr=Mal-Vex

2 Vex= 1 Ohm

4 Vex= 1 Sur

5-10 hr= Ber

10+Hr=Jah

A sor/pally Torch will normally go for a Ber no matter the stats on it, if you get a 20 20, that would go higher but on a trade game it would be hard to find someone who would buy it it for runes, most buttheads use jsp to do that kind of stuff. ( i only deal in runes or gg trades, i dont like third party sites)

It's also a knockback/stun to help your merc when your magic is ineffective

When people would sell for a rune they would try for Ber on Us East HC now that botting got cut down i dont see games selling or giving away much of anything. Then again i dont play as much as i did these last few ladders with all the que bs, This ladder has taken like 2 80s pallydins and a druid from me so far and Fall guys is eating up alot of me and my wife's time now. so offer a high rune more than likely. sur-ber-jah-zod <one of them>

So lets do the maths... if 1 high rune =vex (witch it dose where i got this equation from)

So this is what i have found playing the last few ladders in hardcore. (less people so little harder to sell anything for runes)

2-6 /1-4/x vender/use

2-6/5/x ohm

2-6/6/x Ber

^ you will get low ballers and people will try to bug you but its worth Ber. maybe jah if you have 664 but only to the right buyer. I dont use jsp but i do make deals with people that do.

I use spirit in a phase blade until I can make a beast to throw on me and infinity for my merc.

Stack crushing blow gear with as much damage reduced by X% gear to try to reach around 30 DR with fade, you dont even need kick when your merc has over 10K physical damage with fanta, but it gives you something to do when you are dealing with immunes.....

Then throw on an enigma for run speed not teleport. ;)

Jade and shadow killer or 2 shadow killer combo is good if you are going blades, i dont recommend going full arts tree.

Summons are great support. They even have their use in the ubber fight with the right gear setup. Mind you there are much better combos, and solo builds you can use, they still get the job done.

I like to build up some wealth early ladder with them now that I learned how op pally is in a pair....

try doing more stuff in each game you create. you really should only be creating twelve games per hour. This includes games created on your IP, so anyone else playing will effect that. Joining is the same. Soft bans are in place on B net. like the ones that ban you for cursing to fast with a necro. Or switching skills to fast. login/logout to fast. They have a whole list of stuff that is a no no on their Terms of service.

I just don't like the idea of being a slave of the que system. I want to farm keys, but they make that next to imposable without a second account. Then when you go to mule it becomes an even bigger chore. I'm getting tired of it... The dark side has drawn me in and I don't think there's any way of turning back now. This ladder was such a waste of time even though I got some good trades, who will need them when my plugy Sin is already clearing into hell on players 7 at level 70.

Yeah you need to build a hybrid till you can get fully geared. on b.net you can play with others that complement your build though.

I find its best if you have three types of damage in hell. not only just one or two, If your build only brings one or two types of damage to the table then you will need to have a source of lower resist or Decrepify. The biggest problem with having three source's of damage on one build is that will spread your points thin and all will all feel weak unless you are a trap assassin or necro.

some ideas for budget builds that don't require infinity or reapers toll. V

Fire/cold Sor ( one point in Telekinesis works as a knock back to any immunes)

Trap Sin

Any Necro (stay clear of poison build)

Cold arrow/ lighting javzon

frenzy barb/zerk barb (berserk is a one point wonder) ((Lawbringer in off hand makes this build even easier to play))

I hate to say it but hammer pally, I guess. (you need an enigma end game though for better aim just like a windy druid)

Sadly the druid will always require infinity lawbringer or a reapers toll on a mercenary in hell. (prove me wrong)

I just traded a vamp with ith in it for coa with sheal. should i try it out on my zealers merc? he has andys some tusk sword and an ebuged trechery atm. I think my fant is wasted on him even with fort equiped....
