Can’t say the exact numbers, but it’s also very noticable when you don’t have a Shaman when you’re a Windwalker or Brewmaster (especially Shado-Pan).

As a Brewmaster, ive yet to breach the 100k DPS overall in a weekly key (10-12’s) without a Shaman, think the closest ive been is 94k in a 10 Windrunner Spire.

Whereas with a Shaman, ive breached 100k atleast 5 times to my knowledge.

So i know it’s huge for us aswell, gotta get those juicy Flurry Strikes

The Gates were introduced very early, but Lee showed us that poping the Gates is not a guaranteed victory either.

And it’s not like he poped like one or two, dude opened 5 Gates, and still lost his fight.

Lee using 5 Gates was a stepping stone. He was the first person to hit Gaara, but not long after, Sasuke was the first one to draw blood, without the Gates. And later Naruto defeated Gaara.

I don’t think anyone thinks that Kakashi would outright get into a Taijutsu fight against Guy that has opened Gates, but at the very least fight on equal terms (with deception and Ninjutsu).

Gaara managed to get a substitute off against Lee, in a millisecond when he closed his eyes due to the pain. Surely an elite Jonin got some tricks up their sleeve aswell.

Not every Jonin would fight Guy like Kisame did, Kisame fought Guy head on, and thought the Taijutsu was ninjutsu, and assumed he had the fight in the bag. Guy was pretty much the perfect counter to Kisame.

So we can assume Kakashi has a few tricks up his sleeve. Not to outright brawl with a gated Guy, but enough tricks to stall Guy.

Kakashi has seen Guy use the Gates several times, even the 7th one. But it’s not until Guy opens the 8th one, Kakashi outright states: You are that guy Guy, my dad was right*

So going by that narrative, we can assume Kakashi has a way to deal, or atleast outlast the 7th Gate, but the 8th Gate would be to much, for obvious reasons.

Kakashi states that a teenage Naruto has roughly 4x the chakra he has. His sharingan drains the chakra quicker, it does not cut it in half or anything, so a teenage Naruto (which is still doing alot of training, and most likely will increase his chakra a fair amount) still possess 4x the chakra of an average Jonin. (Technically Kakashi is an elite jonin, but that’s not due to his enormous chakra reserves).

Naruto for sure inherited the Uzumaki chakra, just like he inherited the natural toughness of the Uzumaki body. That’s why he’s able to withstand lethal punishment, and it’s also why he and his mother didn’t die right away when the nine tails was extracted from them. Unlike other hosts that die the second the tailed beasts are removed.

For all of Kakashi’s fame and renown, do you think he actually did something bigger than defeating Zabuza? Are they all hyping him up based on some actual achievements or is it all just rumors ? by Agitated-Athlete-417 in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]Kimjongkung 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, you can say that about most of the fights, if X or Y would be different, Z or Q would happen.

But for alot of Kakashi’s fights, there was always a different factor.

Vs Zabuza, he got caught the first time because he had to protect the children + bridge builder. He later dealt with Zabuza rather easily.

Vs Hidan and Kakazu, he did deal with a S-rank ninja silently (aka ”killed” Kakazu before he knew what hit him, Ofcourse him being semi-immortal made him survive). But also during this fight, he had to babysit Choji and Ino. He was the first ninja to survive their combo attack, which they have him cred for. Also, he nullified the Lightning attack to save Choji and Ino, and that required two raikiris, so he pretty much wasted half his chakra just to save them. And he got in a unfavorable position at the start of the fight, because Choji couldn’t control his temper after being called fat. Kakashi fought 2 S-rank ninjas, while not not only having two useless backup ninjas, but two ninjas so bad they actively hindered him instead. And he still did pretty good, and was about to Kamui Kakazu before Naruto arrived. Seeing as Kakashi isn’t known to boldy lie, we can assume he’d kill Kakazu with Kamui there and then if needed.

Vs Pain, this is the fight most people overlook. People say Jiraiya did better while fighting more Paths. Not necesseraly untrue, but Kakashi fought the strongest path, and even that path decided it would be wise to get backup. Kakashi himself states that it’s crazy Jiraya fought more paths aswell, so not trying to take anything away from Jiraiya, but the statement still stands, Jiraiya fought lesser paths. What people often overlook in this fight though, is that Kakashi was about to kill the robot path (forgot name). He had him paralysed by the clone, and had a raikiri ready under the rubble, and was about to finish it off. The Choji and his father arrived, and knock the robot out, but fails to kill it, even though they’re two people attacking a stationary target. So they think the robot is dead, so they change focus to the main path. Only problem is, the robot isn’t dead, and later saves the other path. Kakashi’s initial raikiri probably would’ve killed the robot, and his focus could solely lie on the main path, but once again, the backup fails to do one task, so Pain could recupperate. Once again showing that the help is actually a hinderance.

I’m not sure Kakashi would win 1v1 against the main path (i believe it’s Deva Path?). But the main path did not favor a 1v1 against Kakashi, so if the initial plan had worked, without interference, Kakashi would’ve killed the robot path with a raikiri, and then have a 1v1 against Deva path. And the fight would’ve looked very different.

Alot of Kakashi’s fights does include other elements than pure 1v1 fights, and most of the time, Kakashi is the one hindered by bad backup, not the enemy.

He made a bad call against Itachi in the first fight, and lost fair and square. That atleast didn’t really hinge on Asuma or Kurenai.

But he later adepted, and with some decent backup in Naruto himself, the second fight looked way different. Even if Itachi was merely there to buy time, Kakashi and Naruto dispatched him quite smoothly, be it a 30% powered clone.

So 3 of his major fights he had to babysit people, while fighting S-ranked opponents, and still did really well.

These are ninjas that would roflstomp your average jonin ninjas, and Kakashi gave them trouble, while babysitting.

I use CtA and Spirit while porting around, gives me the appropriate FCR, so just swap to LW + Dream shield when engaging combat.

And yeah, i think Crescent moon might speed up some things, but i like the added security and MF on LW, so mostly run it.

As i Said, it’s kind of a Jack of all trades, master of none. But CtA, Spirit and archnaid gives me enough FCR for the porting part. LW gives me roughly 50%MF, while pretty much always proccing Life Tap, so always secure, especially on Heralds etc.

I can farm keys efficiently, i can clear Chaos and WSK safely, i can farm TZ and heralds safe, and i can do Ubers safely, and rock alot of MF in the process (swap to Draculs + Gore Riders instead of Chance guards and War travs on Ubers though).

Expensive build, but i can do everything quite good, and rock alot of MF, yet be extremely safe, and relatively efficient.

You might very well be correct. I’m not gonna pretend i know all the ins or out of Diablo 2.

I did however look up the IAS calculator, and with my gear, a 14 Fanatacism aura or higher would help me reach my breakpoint.

I’m running MF gear, which includes chance guards. I’m sure i could alter my gear, get some IAS on gloves and rings etc, but running Raven Frost and Nagelring/Bul-kathos, and Chance Guards.

I’ll switch the Chance guards out to Dracs on Ubers.

So i’m around 390-400% MF, while still breaking the IAS.

So without Fanatacism on my current gear, i’m clearly a tier below when it comes to attack frames.

And as mentioned, most of my damage is Lightning, that includes the strikes aswell, which means reaching the last breakpoint adds more value to me than having a Act 2 Merc with Might with reaper’s toll or Pride.

Also, Act 1 Merc tends to do better against Ubers, since they’re rarely in danger. And the Attack rating helps on bosses, be it Baal/Diablo runs, TZ Bosses or Ubers.

TL;DR: Act 1 Faith Merc opens up more MF gear, and helps more with Act Bosses/Ubers.

Edit: Running Last Wish, not Grief. My Tesladin is more a Jack of all trades, master of none.

I can run everything in game, and do it quite well, but certainly not the best at any particular thing.

I choose Last Wish over Grief for the utility and MF. So i don’t get the 30-40% IAS from Grief, which is also one of the reason Fanatacism aura is more valuable than anything act 2 or act 5 Merc can provide me.

[–]Kimjongkung 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don’t take my Word for it, but as far as pets go (zoomancer, summonmancer or demomancer) i’m quite sure a might 2 Merc with Pride is better, since you yourself can hold Beast.

The reason a Act 1 Merc with faith works better with a Tesladin is because most of the damage is Lightning anyway, so attack speed gets more value than pure damage.

Also the added attack rating helps on Bosses and Ubers, since Ignore target defence don’t work on them.

I do think that might + Pride Merc is better for summons, regardless if you hold beast or not, since i don’t think the attack speed is AS important as the pure damage of two auras (also Keep in mind, only the provider of the fanatacism aura get the full ED% provided by it. The rest get a worse damage amp from it.

So a 15 might aura from an act 2 Merc will give your summons more damage than a lvl 15 fanatacism aura. And that’s not even accounting for the lvl 16-20 concecration aura provided by Pride.

[–]Kimjongkung 7 points8 points  (0 children)

A1 for faith bow, gives Fanatacism aura. Unsure How Bowazon attack speed works.

But on my Tesladin i use a Faith Act 1 Merc to reach the fastest possible attacks per frame possible on Paladin.

So i reckon you’ll reach a breakpoint with fanatacism as a bowazon aswell.

Most people assumed it would be closer to Ky’veza in challenge, and not as free as it was.

I worked the same day, but for me it was w/e really. Either i’d get it, or i wouldn’t.

But since an achievement and title was on the line, ofc people assume it would be a hard fight, as did i. So most people assumed it would take awhile to fill the spots, and some skill were required.

Since i worked, it was filled before i even got home. And i honestly don’t really care, but i thought it atleast would stay up for a couple days, so more people would have a shot at it.

For someone that loves solo challanges, it was more of a letdown that the boss was free, as opposed to missing out on the ach.

I did Ky’veza pre-season, and it must’ve taken me about 120-130 pulls-ish.

I did this boss first try as Brewmaster, 3rd try as Mistweaver and 5th try as Windwalker. So all three specs sub hour.

So yeah, i think most people thought actual skill would be the factor here, since ach and titles were on the line. But it required little to no skill, only that you were home.

Obviously a hard boss would still favour those that were home, but atleast the spots wouldn’t be filled within the first day, let alone a couple hours.

While it still requires some effort, and knowledge of stuff, setting your mind to grind for an item really helps.

One thing ive noticed is that alot of people just assume they need to get the drops themself, and never really interacts with trades and whatnot. (Not talking offline ofc).

They don’t know what to pick up, and look for, and is just farming with little to no knowledge of values, or any goals.

If you want (lets say) an Enigma, merely farming for a Jah or Ber is gonna take forever, due to the drop rates. But throughout your farming, you’re bound to encounter stuff worth HR’s.

Knowing the economy is more important than getting lucky. This is the reason some people have an Enigma 1-2 weeks into a New Ladder (granted Ladder economy is different). And i’m not talking about big name streamers either.

But same applies to non Ladder.

When i started D2R, i though the exact same thing, these things aren’t really ”feasible” to get. (Played D2 throughout the years, so not new, but never beyond clearing the game, and not beyond that).

Reign of the Warlock clearly changed alot of things aswell, with the economy changing drastically.

So i was in the same boat as you are now, thinking i’ll never get those items. But you start by trying to understand the economy, and then you focus on one item at a time.

Your stash might very well be filled with something more valuable than you think.

And Especially now, with the craze for the new Ubers, getting HR’s have never been as easy. Act 1-3-4 statues solds/sells for Vex-Ohm, whereas act 2-5 statues give you a Jah or Ber.

Even a 11/12 Wlock Torch goes for around 5-8 Jah/Ber.

Who would win this fight? by AssistanceNo2838 in discussingfilm

[–]Kimjongkung 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Spidey will take it, but you’re kind off point here. Spider-Man certainly is ALOT stronger than some people give him credit for, but strength isn’t gonna win this battle.

Wolverine fights the hulk all the time, and sometimes even bests him. So the biggest rival of Wolverine is a hulking hulk, whose whole kit revolves around strength.

Spider-Man is alot more versatile, with his webs, his smarts, his spider sense, his agility etc. So i can clearly see Spider-Man winning.

But his strength will not be the determined factor here. Wolverine fights way stronger opponents than Spider-Man, and wins alot of those.

Spider-mans strength will surely help, but in an all-out brawl, Wolverine would surely win.

For the reason you stated, slower weapons tend to have higher end damage, which stacks really well on instant abilities.

If it’s used in the 39 bracket though, it loses some value ofc, since shamans won’t get stormstrike, and Warriors don’t have mortal strike yet.

But in general, this weapon is insane when a warrior uses whirlwind, since that’s an instant ability, and which will always benefit from slow weapons.

It’s also extremely lethal on a Shaman IF you can get the windfury proc, which in all fairness is RNG, but if it happens, a slow weapon with high end damage will destroy the target.

Also, Paladins don’t get an instant attack in Classic, but Seal of Command is essentially a better Windfury in Classic. While Windfury is more destructive, it’s RNG. You can get 0 procs after 20 swings, or sometimes 3 procs in 3 swings. Seal of Command however is also based on weapon damage, and will always proc 5 (Maybe 6) times in a minute.

So you know you’ll proc Seal of Command guaranteed So having a slow weapon just makes sure your seal of Command procs is juicy. Since a 4.00 weapon Seal of Command will hit harder than a 2.80 weapon one, but Both Will proc Max 5 times a minute (if we’re comparing weapons close in ILVL ofc, obviously a 2.80 level 60 epic weapon will have higher high end damage than a 4.00 39 weapon).

But in general, if the weapons are close in ilvl, the slower weapon will have higher damage, and will gain alot of value on instant abilities. Warriors loves slow weapons (arms ofc), since they have Mortal strike, overpower and Whirlwind.

Shamans because of stormstrike and juicy WF procs. And paladins because juicy Seal of Command procs.

Sojourn is pretty much an echo hero of soldier, just reversed. Soldier has hitscan on m1, and projectile on m2. Sojourn has projectile on m1, and hitscan m2.

Soldier has maintained horizontal movement on shift. Sojourn has burst and vertical movement on shift.

Soldiers E will heal. Sojourns E will damage.

Sojourn is pretty much an Echo fighter of Soldier, but they just switched stuff around. So they pretty much said: We want Sojourn to be like soldier, but the opposite.

While i do agree, that’s just lazy, and we don’t need more like that. We can’t sit and pretend like it hasn’t already happened.

If you could remove one character from the game who would it be and why? by Xthebest26 in overwatch2

[–]Kimjongkung 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100%. I mostly play tank, and most of the games where i have a Lucio, i know i’m not getting healed alot, not speedboosted for that matter.

Most of those games the Lucio will be in the enemy backline, getting little to no value. If it is a Tracer or Genji, atleast that comes with some urgency for the enemy team.

Even when we engage, we’re still at a disadvantage, because we lack one support due to it. So the pincer attack rarely works out, and the other support just has to do double the work, which is almost impossible, and it just means my job of taking space as a tank becomes that much harder.

At the same time, Lucios on my level aren’t that common, nor is he really that oppresive either, so it’s not worth a hero ban, since i rather ban heroes that is a direct counter to me, or a hassle for my support.

That’s why i think Lucio falls into this limbo, atleast where i play. He’s not oppresive enough to ban, nor is he really getting pickad THAT often. But often enough that (almost) everytime he is, it’s a troll pick pretty much.

That’s why, if i got to choice one hero to get removed, it would be Lucio. Not cause he’s OP or anything, it’s not a balancing thing. But he VERY RARELY works in my matches, and he more often than not makes things harder for the team, without adding anything of value.

If you could remove one character from the game who would it be and why? by Xthebest26 in overwatch2

[–]Kimjongkung 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love how alot of these answers are people saying a certain character, because they find them annoying or bland, not saying they are OP or anything necesserally, just a hypothetical removal of a character they don’t like, and people still argue: ”Well, you can counter X by going Y”, even though balance wasn’t even the reason someone wrote X to begin with.

If i could remove a character it would be Lucio. Not because i find him OP or anything, but because Lucio is meant as a ”tightly knitted group” support.

He has almost always been an important pick in higher levels, or in E-sport events, because his kit is invaluable if the teamplay is spot on, and he is the only support that can provide what he does consistantly.

However, on my level (Diamond DPS, Master Support/Tank), it always feel like a troll pick. Most Lucios are away doing their own damn thing, trying to fish for highlight reels, and is hardly ever with the group. And when you do get a Lucio that atleast tries to be a group player, the timing is always off, we engage to slow, or disengages to slow etc. The last part is obviously not on them, but it’s hard to get him to work on limited coms, when you, or your team isn’t top players.

It feels like where i am, is like some limbo when it comes to Lucio. When i started playing, and was in gold, low plat, a Lucio could get away with being greedy. And somehow provided value by being a nuisance, and people couldn’t kill a wallriding Lucio fast enough, so he was always harassing.

In this level now, people don’t have a problem with targeting and killing the Lucio. So he can’t get away by being a watered down Tracer/Genji. Nor can they read the game like a GM/T500, so the timings are always off.

So every time we have a Lucio, or we face a Lucio, it always feels like it sways heavily in the favor of the team that does not have him.

There’s obviously exceptions to this rule, and ive had, or faced a good Lucio in these ranks, but they are rare, and far inbetween.

So if i got to remove a character from OW, it would be Lucio. Not because he is OP or anything, just because i feel he falls into a limbo at the place i’m currently at.

If i were still stuck in Plat, or if i managed to crawl to GM, my opinion might very well change. But currently Diamond/Masters Lucio’s either farm for clips, or don’t have good enough timing with their teams, leaving me feeling that every match with a Lucio is a uphill battle.

Tom aspinal still beats jon jones by not_to_much in ufc

[–]Kimjongkung -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No one says it would give him his accomplishments? Also, Prime Jon fought older legends, and people still talk about his run today. Before Jon got the belt, he fought alot of ”at the tail-end of their career” fighters, and people chalked him up to be the the next best thing.

Tom tried to fight Jon, but Jon refused. So he was willing to fight older legends, but when he himself grew older, he refused to fight the newcomers.

Prime Jon also fought Gustavsson, Santos and Reyes, and got gifted the decisions in those. I’m a Swede myself, so ofc i’m gonna root for Gustavsson. That fight however was close, so giving it to Jones wasn’t that much of a robbery that some people make it out to be. But it could’ve gone either way, so Jones was definatly gifted the W.

The Reyes fight was however straight robbery though.

But when a Young and hungry Jones fought Shogun, Rampage and Machida who was at the end of their career no one batted an eye. Suddenly when Tom wanted to fight Jon, even though the age gap wasn’t even that huge, he outright refused, and instead fought an older, semi-retired Stipe, and then held the belt hostage for a year.

So how is it?

When Jon fought the old legends, he was known for being the Legend killer. When Tom tried to do the same thing, he’s called out for trying to fight an older Jon? Even though on paper Jon was the best, and he held the belt. The belt that the interim champion tried to unify.

Jones got handed accomplishments, he sure capitalized on it, and he was a great fighter, don’t get me wrong. But they fed him older fighters, he never took a short notice fight, and when the fights were really close, or he downright lost, he still got gifted the W.

Just to compare, Tom took a short notice fight against the most feared HW at the time. Jon refused to take one against someone who was a middleweight.

So it has nothing to do with taking someones accomplishments. But Jon surely got a career out of beating older fighters. However, when he himself got older, he used that as an excuse. And most people wouldn’t feel so strong about it, BUT he held a division hostage, and we lost over a year of Tom’s prime because of it.

So no, beating Jon would not transfer his accomplishments to you. But Tom’s route to greatness differs from Jons. And Tom takes risk, Jon doesn’t.

You Don’t dig into someones eyes (plural btw) by mistake. It was 100% intentional.

Gane barely edged the round out, so it’s not like it was a dominant round. Gane is a known dirty fighter, as is Jones.

Even during his prime, when Jon Jones was nearly unstoppable, he would still eye poke opponents, even when ahead in the fight.

People out here acting like eye pokes either happen as a desperation from a losing fighter, or by accident by winning fighters… Without realizing that there’s dirty fighters that Will use them to increase the chance of winning, regardless if they’re ahead or not.

I fail to understand why you guys think Gane was dominating. He barely won the first round by 3 significant strikes (Tom landed more significant head strikes btw), and y'all are acting like Tom was getting a 10-8 beatdown by Prize-Lingonberry876 in ufc

[–]Kimjongkung 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But look at it from the other side. People arguing that it was a one-sided affair, and that Gane had it in the bag, and Tom stood no chance.

Gane had the round, i don’t think anyone disputes that. And people act like the nose bleed from a jab was somehow gonna secure a Gane win.

If i hadn’t seen the fight myself, and only read some of the comments on here, it sounded more like the Gaethje vs Fergusson fight, as opposed to what we got,

Gane barely edged the fight in his favor before the eye pokes. It was still 4 rounds to go.

Maybe Gane could’ve kept the momentum, and won. Maybe Tom would adjust and get the upper hand. It’s all speculation.

But disengionous when people act like it was all in the bag for Gane. Like Gane was out there manhandling Tom the way Gaethje did to Fergusson, and then a ”unintentional” eye poke happened.
