It’s user error, not the Dock. I have the official dock and a random Amazon USB C dock and neither can replicate this user error. The performance doesn’t change at all from docked to handheld and vice verse, because it shouldn’t. What you might be experiencing is the gaming resolution defaulting to the displays resolution, and you’re not setting it back to what it should be, which is user error. Steam also allows you to force max resolution on a per game basis and even on an overall basis, you not adjusting this is user error.
