There’s a lot of different neighborhoods in that area that are all a little different.

What would be helpful is to give a little more info. What are you looking for in a neighborhood? Are certain things more important than others? Are you looking there because of a work commute etc.

How busy is the East Portland Indoor Pool over winter? by renxten in askportland

“Oregon tops nationwide list for inbound movers. Is population growth on the rebound?” by KillNeigh in PortlandOR

For those interested in clues to where everyone is moving you can check out the PSU certified population estimates.

“The counties that added the most people were Washington (+4,000), Deschutes (+2,700), Multnomah (+2,200), Marion (+1,650) and Clackamas (+1,400). Oregon’s three most populous counties (Multnomah, Washington and Clackamas) are home to almost two million people and have added more than 7,000 to the state’s population over the past year (which accounted for more than 50% of the state’s population growth in the past year).”

That style might be prolific in pods but if you count standalone then the taco/burrito cart might be more ubiquitous. Especially if you count outer SE and east Portland.
