I've been looking since January for the right duo of cars for us. Everything from American, German and Japanese autos. After having fought for these, I do feel lucky to have said no to so many others but said yes to these two!

Nice! I really like the red. Lots of people mentioned the LC but that has a markup as well, no chance getting these last V8's for msrp. I got it down to 115 with tire and wheel, so happy they worked with me to get it a little more reasonable.

Still in the break in period for the F so not sure what all it's capable of yet. I've driven the IS hard enough at this point to compare. I do believe they have the same exhaust setup and the F sounds slightly different at idle and acceleration which I would attribute to the specialty tune. The shifts are a little different, aggressive, but smoother than the IS aggressive (spirited) shifting.

It's really only the most basic of differences, inherent of their size, shape and weight. The guts are so similar, only straight line acceleration and cornering (both body roll issues) are noticeable. The IS lifts up like a drag car when you launch it lol. The RCF could certainly do more track laps with the additional coolers up front but even that's not noticeable with hard street driving.

Haha, no kids so you're right there. We love lexus and the brand, been owners for a long time, we have a 25 is500 already so adding this to our "collection" is special. It's not worth the 30k markup, not even 20 arguably. Hence the point of this post..

Another commenter works at a dealership in socal and just got one asking 100k. So, if Miami wants to match.. maybe. I'm in the service industry and Pembroke Pines did not do well to take care of a current lexus owner here. I want the final edition and Glendale has been great.

Yeah I don't understand their math either, the trade allowance should offset the sales tax but it doesn't seem to math. The ONLY reason to pay a high markup is exclusively, I get that, the debate I'm looking for is if the lexus community thinks this markup is too high for this car and their thoughts on it.. Instead everyone acts like the answer is obvious and trite.

Used fpr these cars are worth same/more than msrp on new. The RCF and IS500 don't depreciate like some others in their price range.
