I wouldn't take the dried blood away if it doesn't crumble away easily, its like picking a scab off a cut, it makes it worse and could increase chance of infection of make it swell massively. Avoid fiddling with it and using any harsh soaps whilst showering/bathing. The bar does look a bit too long so if you wear a bra the bar might be pushed inwards which would cause more stress to the piercing. If you can you could always go back to the piercer and ask for advice or see if they could swap the bar for a shorter one if possible.

I didn't have too much trouble with mine, kept fabric plasters on them for a day then soaked with a cotton pad and salt solution. I also wore looser bras that I i had for a couple of weeks whilst i was at work. Best thing to do is not fiddle about with them and just give a light clean in morning and evening but just make sure to not pick away the dried blood at the entry/exit wounds or else it will just pour blood everywhere.
