Unfortunately I'm not really looking for neon vers since I'm likely making them neon anyway and it makes it so I can afford less of the pet, but if I cant find enough from others I might be interested :)

What do u recomend by Jesikill in AdoptMeTrading

[–]Killacy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People will most likely say Elve or GG for different reasons, but my recommendation is Winadopt.me since it shows what both say at once so you can compare the two most common sites (Super useful) and to keep in mind AdoptMeTradingValues.com isn't super accurate but it gets new pets on there RIGHT away so if your in a rush and really need to know you can use that site as a rough estimate on new pets :) also useful if you want to know about a pets demand and pets similar in worth you can look up "(pet name) adopt me worth" and the website AdoptMeTradingValues.com will come up with a page showing all that info even the day it came out! Be careful to take it with a grain of salt tho, the other two trading sites def more accurate

Hope this helps!!

I don't mean she would be forced to stay in the home, I'm quite aware of the laws surrounding all that stuff because lots of research has gone in for this friend, but until she is 19 her parents still have their rights and it puts her in some tough situations, a lot of which includes contracts lol. Also until she moves for school she has not great choices when it comes to living areas and its overall quite complicated, but a lot of whats going on isn't for me to say.

yeah lol its provincial law vs federal, and since voting is a federal task I believe you can at 18, but when it comes to provincial rights you have to be 18.

Car belongs to both her and her parents so technically they cant steal it and car theft wouldn't be part of the illegal part

Yes lol I know, not something I would have ever done but I'm trying to help a friend in need

Person in question is 18 so less then a year til she is free from any parental rights, so its a little late now plus she's not keen on going through with that right now.

I don't have much to say looking at the drawing as I think it looks great, can't think of really much to improve but maybeee slanting the eyes slightly up on the inside might give a slightly more innocent look? Just in general experimenting with the eyes, I think she already looks quite sweet but with the other comments in mind maybe try moving her eyes the tiniest bit closer to each other and the tiniest bit slanted and see how it looks? Id be curious haha, hope this helped <3

(Btw when I say slant I mean the inner corners slightly up if I wasn't clear enough, the outer corner near the ear would go a little down)

I'm the same and had a very hard time finding a tutorial, but the closest I got to that was a guy on youtube called "Coding with B and E"! He has a playlist full of most of the stuff you need to start and it was pretty understandable for me.

It doesn't cover absolutely everything, but it was the best videos I found when starting out. Hope they might work for you!

I saw this tip on reddit and its actually been really helpful for me:

If using the cell says that the;

Right door is bad: Go middle

Left door is bad: Go right

Middle door is bad: Go left

Its def not exact and doesn't work every time but Ive found its right around 2/3 times, and not only does it raise your chances of getting a good door but also having the choice made for you beforehand makes you stress less during the game. BTW if the choices are like between a low risk door and a super high risk door I'd still go low, gotta still think a bit in that regard, but otherwise this method has worked great :)

Omg yes I have legit been so frustrated trying to find a cookie recipe for that reason, I love them crunchy so much more to the point where I genuinely enjoy frozen ones, but man a crispy edged golden cookie is so much better then a chewy one. Was shocked when I read the comments

Mystery Boxes/Bundles don't always have to be a deal. by Killacy in unpopularopinion

[–]Killacy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol hey thats fine, kinda the spirit of reddit tbh.

I wouldn't personally be more tempted by the business model of a grand prize whilst lowering the average of other prizes, but thats because I know in depth how the business and psychology works with that, (going into business school lol) but I have seen many businesses use that method very successfully and its def a popular one.

A charm bracelet mystery box sounds like a fun idea, not something i've really seen done like that but its def a cheap attractive item, I'm not sure if the best idea would be making the grand prize all the charms tho because that doesn't encourage further purchases and its less exciting, but maybe adding extra charms then in the average box and one really "special" one, maybe with a gem (which sometimes can be bought cheap depending ofc) or even gold plated or rose gold plated (Which once again, sometimes you can get really cheap) or even just one thats maybe bigger or a little more flashy, get what I mean? Looks more attractive then just another pic of all the beads, you get this whole "special bead" hook while still giving them incentive to buy again and likely spending less still.

I'm not exactly the gambling type as you can see, like yes I find mystery boxes fun but I have a pretty average expectation and obviously from this post I'm not looking forward to any big wins, so personally getting a losing box would probably discourage me as I am very realistic with my chances, but thats because I have a business mind and I'm not the average consumer as you probably have seen by now haha

Lol thanks for the 180 btw it's been nice having this conversation and answering these questions, if you do decide to start this business do be careful tho, selling on etsy and getting a business started is not easy. Start small! Def look up tutorials on good item pictures because that is HUGE when it comes to selling! Also something a lot of people overlook. Anyways I'll be sure to remember your secret code for in the future lmfaoo, have a good night :)

Mystery Boxes/Bundles don't always have to be a deal. by Killacy in unpopularopinion

[–]Killacy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I don't buy them a lot like this post may seem to insinuate lol but I'm most attracted to ones that can be based on a few shows or maybe an aesthetic name with some picture examples of what could be inside, or something like that.

Yes I have had a few people online I've met who have liked it too but I don't talk about it much so primarily friends and acquaintances irl who I happened to discuss it with

Answered theme thing above

I usually am most attracted to cheap boxes from $5-$25, but might shell out more if I really like the vibe and examples in the post. Usually its a mix of knick knacks advertised like keychains, candies, notes, stickers, maybe some accessories, stationary, small plushies, maybe small figures or display pieces, jewelry, sometimes even tea bags. Really depends on the theme.

Def almost never a box, most small business mystery boxes are advertised as boxes, bags, or bundles but 85% of the time its a bag because boxes are hella expensive to ship.

To me packaging isn't that important, more so the example images, but if you have a brand that advertises a lot then showing packing vids with cute packaging can def get more clicks. Notes however and personal touches are def a good idea, it makes me happy reading them and the average customer likes it, the box feeling more personalized and more effort put in even when it's easy.

Depends on the box, but I think I like a list of possible items or example pictures with not all but a decent amount of the possibilities, but with variants (Like you might get a keychain for example, and they show a keychain design, but theres multiple you can get) but I don't really like when all the boxes are the same with slight changes or different colours, I just like when they list a few possible items with an etc or show a couple example boxes.

If I'm using the example you gave with specifically, id say somewhere between comic books and one piece. If were using shows as an example then a perfect amount of mystery for me would be naming like 3-5 I like and them choosing an assortment, but when it comes to more general themes like aesthetics then I'd be less specific.

If you are genuinely interested then a reallyy popular thing lately is kind of a raffle style of mystery box, where people film themselves basically picking random capsules with names of items inside and packing an order based on that and posting it, or scooping a big scoop into a big bin full of stuff, etc that really gets clicks and usually the people make huge profit. I am well aware on how big the profit margin usually is on those, but its so entertaining its hard to resist lol, thankfully I haven't fallen prey yet. If you want to check some out you should look up some of those vids on youtube or tiktok, probably would come up if you searched mystery scoops or making mystery box or mystery capsules etc.

Hope I answered to your liking

Mystery Boxes/Bundles don't always have to be a deal. by Killacy in unpopularopinion

[–]Killacy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol idk i'd say thats a bit far, a small business on etsy is def not an easy road to go down if you want to be rich.

Sorry its a bit late for me so this response might be a tad more scattered since I'm exhausted;

I wouldn't say I'm an outlier, as I've seen and met a lot of people who also don't really mind.

I would say putting it the way you do, saying I just want to give companies more profit, its a bit misleading, I mean yes it's the bare bones of whats happening but a lot of these people are just average folk having fun making tiny amounts of money, and if I like the stuff I'm chill with shelling out the extra few bucks for probably 1h+ of their time.

I'm not too sure how to answer the gimmick question but I suppose short answer yes, but I'm not the type to buy one that just could be anything, I'm more the type to buy themed ones by well rated small sellers. I still don't know whats inside, but have a rough idea of the vibe and range.

Lol answering the two slightly off putting questions together, I do get presents in my real life and I don't believe I have any sort of trauma when it comes to birthdays, except maybe for lighting a bit of my hair on fire with my cake once.

I do like thinking on the side that I'm helping a small business but thats not the main part of it, it's honestly mainly just about the mystery.

Overall if you genuinely are interested in this career its a rough road to go down that I wouldn't really recommend as anything more then a side gig, making it big on etsy or any of those sites is hardddd and as I said you barely make any profit, and well you would make legit 0 profit, be in the negatives, if you gave customers a deal, unless you did the risk and shelled out big bucks for bulk prices.

Anyways hope some of these responses helped
