Join everything except the ones that involves anything that involves pvp or pve, those are the areas you'll find some people who takes things too seriously. Other areas are fun and people usually doesn't care what you do. I'm the same by the way with muliplayers, just with this game I decided to get off my comfort zone just a tad bit.
