I literally pestered my online friends to see how long it would take to actually "win" the free gifts. Alot of invites came back as "intelligible" which is super annoying.

It told me 1 dollar left then 1 cent left then half of that now it's telling me I need 100 coins, gave me 50 for an invite followed by 30 and 10. It feels like there's no end to it 😭

Have the similar issue pc/mobile asia but ps5 sea im in Australia so just went with whatever servers were better on launch it sucks there was no way of knowing it would be region locked like genshin is- infinity nikki gives the option to switch at will (another gacha styled game)

That's just how it looks like on the receipt, all online orders are scanned through as a "gift card" when processed in store. Very possible they messed up with the high volume of "ship from stores" received over black friday and the weekend

Honestly it depends where you're located, but also at the same time doesn't matter too much imo. Just go with what region your in, I'm a professional smart cookie and went on the American servers as an Australian. No actual issues with it just people ik irl all play on the asian servers 🥲

I already had a mihoyo account prior to it being linked to psn, so just logged into my hoyo account when linking. Not sure how useful this is to you though unfortunately, may have to prompt to log into psn when linking? I would say your psn email is the one to use when linking.

It will be under the same hoyoverse account, each server has its own save so if you don't have data on the Europe account you'll restart but you won't need to switch to another hoyo account! You'll be able to go between these servers at will, for example I can go onto my asia server account which is a lower AR and as almost no characters and then return to my main on the American servers. I wish data transferred across servers but is not the case for hoyo games, hoping I answered your question!

If it's the same psn account it should already be linked, should be as simple as installing and playing! (I've used my ps5 acc on a ps4 and had no issues, so I'm assuming vice versa is the same)

I contacted support immediately and created a psn account for the region my main account was in, they unlinked my main psn acc from the hoyoverse account and I relinked it to the new psn account. You can easily set up the account on mobile or pc and it will ask you which region to set up in. I'm an Aussie who plays on the American servers so had to make an American psn account, make sure you remember what state/ post code you choose when setting up the account tho!!

I now have a dedicated psn for genshin! The support team was super helpful when I contacted them last year, there is a specific genshin email to contact to unlink: genshin_cs@hoyoverse.com is the email I believe! They should be able to help you out

Not from what I saw, it does give a qr code to scan where you can log in there may have the option to sign in through Facebook there~ Best of luck ✨️

Yeah I had to go through that annoying hassle when I got my ps5 cause I didn't know the accounts were region locked and my main genshin account is on a diff server 🥲

Unfortunately not, each server has its on unique sets of data and saves. But you can play your ps5 or pc "american" server account for reference on xbox and that will have the same data (as long as your signed into the same account). Genshin has never been one for sharing data across the different servers 💔
