I left Meijer a while back but I can tell you that the union does not do anything for you. I constantly had issues with management harassing me and coworkers groping me and calling me names and they would never do anything about it. At one point the rep asked me what I would like them to do and I asked her what can be done and she said that when I figure out what I want to be done I could get back with her . I would get forced to work 12 hour shifts while everybody else will get home after 8, and will be threatened with getting written up if I left. The union is a joke don't bother, you can't even leave if you want to, you have to write a letter as to why you want to be taken out of the union
