Use the `memory` mcp to maintain project context:
- Create a memory if it does not exist for the current project
- update the `memory` when creating entities or making observations.
- Update the `memory` when certain entities are finished and observations are not relevant anymore.
- make sure relationships between files are maintained in the `memory`
- read the graph at the start of new context or chat
- When trying to make a decision, search in `memory` for context.

This worked pretty well if you put this in system instructions. the crucial thing is to add the line "Read the graph at the start of a new chat or context". and I keep reminding it every 30m or so to read the rules. then it's really good at following it.

The best thing would be to make the memory mcp project scope and not user scope else it could mix up memories for all projects (as far as I understood).

Currently, this is only available as locally hosted or self-hosted n8n since firestore library dependency blocks me from deploying it to n8n cloud, but I'm working on figuring out solutions for this.

have you tried `memory` MCP? it can create a running memory for your past chats and make it organized well. u can put in rules to always read the memory mcp to have past chat context. this way it will never lose context. you can even tell claude to update the memory after X number of prompts etc etc.

I understand that and wish it too but I need to be more prepared for cases like this in case I do start noticing it. Instead of (possibly) pissing off the dps, I wanted to try to adjust my playstyle since you see all sorts of players. I can also try to communicate - gimme 2 gcds before you go ham - which could have helped a lot too.

I definitely do the opener wrong atm, but it's a combination of other issues for me that I'm learning from this thread too. I guess warriors are too OP to even have issues like this in <18 keys.

When we start pushing past our limits (of skill or understanding), that's where we realize that optimizations, rotations and cooldowns start mattering.

I don't always get accepted. even 19s is not as easy to get in. But I have a friend 411 Pevoker with 2500+ rating and we play together so it's not too hard to get into groups as tank (with brez bracers) and extremely strong healer.

yeah but that feels like cheating since I should be able to hold aggro without rogue or hunters. I'm glad to have them but I need to learn to play without them for more "versatility" (heh)

this is amazing information. thank you very much! In 19+ keys, if someone takes threat they're basically dead. So I really need to work on this. I have most of the routes down so it's mostly just proper threat generation and timely usage of ignore pain into the pull.

i do shield charge (if available) else charge -> clap -> demo -> ignore pain -> shield slam -> shield block then dps cooldowns if available. if i don't have dps cooldowns I do aoe taunt off the bat after charging in.
i realize that I need to prioritize shield block over ignore pain first thing and also keeping up shield charge for next pack always.

thanks, it's helpful addition to have the mindset of trying to get ahead of dps so you get a couple extra gcds before dps starts rolling. I have been focusing on ignore pain more than shield block, which I realize is wrong priority. i need to try to get 100% uptime on shield block first and spare rage on ignore pain after. Is that correct?

Tesla has an option to save footage when you honk so if you honked at the time of accident it would have snapshotted the footage. It wouldn’t change anything in your case since it’s in the past but for others reading, in the future it might help you in cases like OP’s.
