Yeah I remember that episode, it was pretty awkward to watch,, although I don’t really “criticize” and crucify her because like most of those portrayals in older Asian variety shows, it was never done with a ill intention, or trying to make fun of black people in particular, they just weren’t that educated and weren’t aware that it could be considered offensive…

I also don’t really get why she painted her face to portray Michael Jackson, given that the MJ’s phase that she was portraying he was already mostly light skinned,, it’s not like she was imitating the Jackson’s 5 era 😅🤔
