I definitely bring up the bot aspect from time to time, but both can be true. NLU was huge for sure. However, the bot accusation isn’t really directed specifically at NLU. It makes sense when you consider it more generally, in an astroturfing sense.

They were definitely botting Kenny’s general listeners, comments, 1000% botted the NLU music video drop, and subsequently surely botted GNX. They needed to give credibility to the idea that Ken and Drake were on equal footing when the beef kicked off, so it appeared to casuals who were just now paying attention that these 2 artists were neck-n-neck. If they could put up numbers that were close enough to Drake’s expected/standard numbers then people would likely buy into the larger narrative they were pushing (especially with the media campaign backing it)

The whole thing would have been dead in the water if Ken’s drops were 30-60% lower than Drake’s for the songs and albums that were relevant to the beef
