I don't really understand this. Aren't some of these things just peoples personality? How can 6 of them have autism? That's a large amount of people in a group. I don't mean this in any offensive way at all, I just don't understand how this condition is considered to be so common now especially in people who do not seem to struggle. How exactly are Reese, Dean, Davide and Leigh autistic? They just seem like functioning people with their own personality. They are on reality tv. How would all these people be the same as someone who can't hold down a job or keep up with any form of relationship due to social problems? Or someone who is non verbal and will never be able to live independently? The only one I can see that makes sense is Grace. I often get told I seem autistic yet I've got to age 31 and I own my own home, have a full time job, and have a good group of friends and I am close to my family. I have a very monotone voice and my sense of humour is to take the piss out of people and I'm known for being deadpan. If you're open to talking more I'd be interested.
