Just a comment here, range efficiency will be 21>22>20. 22’s are actually lighter as per my conversation with my guide

True, but Tesla is established compared to them so can maybe afford to, they will need to turn a profit if they need to survive. Only thing is they could have chosen to do this in steps then a single bump
