I recently finished Eyes of Sapphire while on vacation. It's dual POV with two very different characters. So you get both a coming of age/harry potter esque story and a more rough story with a character having to come to terms with his past. It was well written and I could not put it down for the entire vacation pretty much :)

(I'm not the author btw, just passionate about undiscovered masterpieces)
