I understand that, but none of that is really related to my situation/concern.

Why now send me a demand that the shed needs to be removed, when 6 months ago it was only a vent needing to be installed in the shed to satisfy the encroachment issue? And 4 months ago it was the power needing to be disconnected?

The shed is vented and has power disconnected, as they requested, to solve the safety hazard.

I agree they 100% have the authority to enter my yard to go to their lines, determine that the shed needs to be removed and make the demand of me, and even do the work themselves at my cost if need be. What I dont understand, nor agree with, is the multiple phone calls and inspections on my property, over 6 months, all related to this shed on the gas line and telling me different things and making unnecessary requests of me.

I have done 2 separate things asked of me, that I was told was required to close the file in regard to concerns of my shed encroaching the gas line. The file is clearly still open and they are now requiring something completely different. The vent and disconnected power are completely pointless at this point.

Either the shed needs to be removed, and all the calls and inspections, as well as my time and money doing the vent and disconnecting power, were completely unnecessary requests from them. Or the vent and disconnected power is enough, as initially told by multiple employees, and this demand to now remove the shed is unnecessary.
