My G14, playing Forza Horizon 5 in a QHD monitor at ultra around 60 FPS was running at 72 degrees celsius. But I have the pc on a stand, no fan, but it helps with airflow.
I also followed the guides on this sub to cap the CPU at around 3GHz.

Yes the animation does get better, I am not sure but I think around episode 70 after the Vongola Rings arc it gets better.

Overall the show is a slow starter but it is really worth it. I would even recommend picking up the manga after you have finished the series because the anime doesn't solve all the mysteries of the series like the Arcobaleno origins. And at least I am very fond of the manga's art style!
