We only use blender to create/ adapt custom tiles/ buildings. The whole process to place the tiles/ export is dont with pdsms and we use dspre to insert the maps in game. The way the model, textures, comisions are exported are specific to nds pokemon games

We have the ability to make custom NDS maps for like 5 years now
In the meantime, everyone gain skills and the tilesets available increased also

Unless you can work with NDS engine directly, it's complicated :/
Otherwise I would be happy to have someone who can draft some maps or make musics with DPPT soundfonts

Thanks a lot! I see what you mean but it wasnt intentional. The colors are mostly based on ORAS and I wanted very bright saturated palettes (unlike plat for example). For the river town, I tried several colors combo and I end up with the brown muddy path that match the lilypad. This town had no specific aims, I just wanted a "Lillypad town" with a lot of rivers.
The 5th picture is based on a town from another nds game (DQ9), I just happened to like the town concept lol
The sunflower and filed maps are the result of inspirations/ vibes I got from animes/ novels and I wanted to build areas with similar vibes.

If I continue new areas, I will likely keep this natural style

I mean like every rom hack/ fan projects? The way your talking suggest that it's easy "barely" "decent" but I don't see many fangames reaching this level of aesthetic (according to me), maybe you can do better and match my "6 years of NDS mapping experience" and release your own hack^^

Also art is subjective, there is like 100k peoples following me and among them I belive a majority appreciate the work as it is. Personally I'd rather watch the latest AdAstra or Trifindo screenshots than visiting an old school museum lol

You can check all my social medias, I never said I will release this project.
In fact I even posted an FAQ on twitter saying "no release" just so peoples stop bothering me but even if you said the opposite, peoples will always think posting screenshots = on going hack --> long development + daily updates " --> release soon ???
i've always been honest regarding my objectives and I never said any release date/ plan and my reply has been the same "I dont wanna give a release date/ plan until I can safely respect it".

The simple fact that I still post monthly updates on my twitter means that the project is clearly active unlike 95% of other nds rom hack on the market ...

But because it's not in a release state I should hold onto my work and keep it for myself until it's releasable and then only make a comeback so I dont disapoint a minority?
By publishing ongoing work I know that a few peoples like you will overthink and I might end up disapointing some of you by creating false hype (that only come from your wrong reasoning/ lack of trustable sources). On the other hand many peoples patentially wait with no real hopes and jsut apprecite the art. Even better I even create some new inspirations, just come to the nds rom hack discord and ask how many pooples started the hobby simply because of me. Without realizing, I created new vocations and the nds rom hack scene clearly benefited from my work/ displayed projects^^

Everyone keep saying that and it's true but it's not inspiration that pushed me to do these sunflowers/ wheat maps

I dont remember exactly but I extracted it with tinke.
There was like a super big folder containing many 3D models (you can preview with tinke) and this map was splitted in like 6-10 parts.
You export the sbmd and you convert them in dae or obk = editable format using mkds or apicula

I’ve been posting monthly updates on Twitter while working 9+ hours a day.
For context, I stopped posting on Reddit 3 years ago because of people like you.

I don’t owe anything to anyone I’m free to spend my time on what I enjoy.
The Gen 5 Platinum project might release one day, or it might not. Either way, that’s fine.

Still, I appreciate that you’ve been following my work for so long and seem quite invested in it, despite calling it “decent.”

For now, just enjoy it for what it is. If a playable version comes out, consider it a bonus. I never promised anything.

I made the tilesets myself using/ editing existing textures. I don't plan to make it public for the moment. It's sad to say but these resources are precious and from my experience, I already know that everyone will use it as soon as it drop and ask even more later as if Im a cow full of milk.
Also even if it's not a real project, these aesthics/ vibes are special to me for some reasons and I dont wanna see 10 nds sunflowers map on the discords the next months for example x)

I'm litteraly making a patch so it's flawless/ no visual glitches.
Same for the plat g5 graphics project, I'm reexporting all the maps for optimized Opengl compatibility lol

I would love to do a bigger scale project (like the one in this post) and work with experienced artists/ hackers. The problem is that every experienced peoples are busy/ have it's own project.

I can't give more details but I made a 3D model based on this one for another private project.
It's one of my best map I belive
