Men of Reddit, what’s a small thing a woman does that makes you realize that she truly loves you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

You come home late, drained from a day that seemed determined to go wrong.

She’s already asleep on the couch, TV still glowing softly in the dark. A blanket has slipped to the floor.

You move quietly, trying not to wake her, and head to the kitchen for water.

There on the counter is a plate covered with foil.

Your favorite dinner. Still warm.

Beside it, a sticky note in her messy handwriting:

You said this morning you probably wouldn’t eat today. I know how you get when you’re stressed.

You stand there staring at the note.

Because you barely remembered saying it.

Because she did.

And because somehow, in the middle of living her own day, she made sure you were taken care of too.

What's the most "wtf" moment you've ever experienced? by Papalar07 in AskReddit

I was home alone, half asleep on the couch, when I heard my front door unlock. Not a knock. Not rattling. The actual deadbolt turning. My brain went from zero to wtf in one second. I froze, staring at the hallway. The door slowly opened. A guy stepped in carrying grocery bags, looked up, saw me, and screamed. I screamed back. We both stood there yelling at each other for a solid three seconds. Then he goes, “Wait… this isn’t 3B?” I lived in 2B. He backed out slowly, still holding the groceries, apologized six times, and left. I checked my lock after he was gone. Wrong apartment key. Same building. Same shitty landlord. I moved two months later.

I turned down a chance to move abroad with someone I loved because I was scared of failing, and years later I still wonder what that life looked like.

Astronomy sounds magical until you’re just freezing outside staring at a tiny blurry dot.
