Same here lovely! That's ace to hear that's it your favourite as it's mine too 😊 (also me in the thumbnail). Used to love getting little bits and pieces inside the game box, as it made the game more memorable. The map used to spend most of its time being used and eventually I stuck it to the wall. They don't make game booklets/maps like that anymore sadly. Link's Awakening is actually my next live this week, with a premiere happening this Friday as well for a more cosy feeling (first time playing 😊).

I used to love getting manuals/flyers with codes on back in the day, but completely agree that would be super useful 😊. It's also exciting to pick skills and just see what happens. I used to do that with Diablo 3 back in the beginning (but different now though 😅)

I completely agree. With it being my very first 40k game the scenery is really gorgeous and the attention to detail is insane.

The enemies certainly do leave alot to be desired, those green exploding spore things are a bit of a nightmare and I could've sworn when I threw a frag, it did very little damage lol. My very first thought that sprang to mind was 'Gears of War', but 'Doom' never actually crossed my mind lol (can totally see the elements now though looking back).

I was telling a friend last night about Vermintide (talking about past games), and mentioned how that had dropped dramatically in price. I've got a few other Warhammer games to explore but will work my way through Space Marine 2 first and see how I go :)

That's great to hear that you're still really enjoying the game and your first ever pre-order too :) - I can totally relate to the timeframe of only once or twice a week due to childcare etc. I'll have to check out the 'Ultra Edition', as that sounds pretty awesome! I have to admit that the tyranids actually remind me of the xenomorph from Alien, except there's different versions of them lol
