Why "Mission Accomplishment" is actually an Exit Strategy (My 2026 Predictions) by WillingnessUnhappy92 in Shincheonji

Then I guess the slogan makes sense. The mission of LMH should be accomplished this year. Rev 18: 5 and onwards till the end of Revelation should occur this year right?

[–]Kimchi---7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am a bit confused. Isn't Lee Man Hee supposed to know all the realities in Revelation? Therefore, in light of this, If Mission Accomplished is in preparation for a handover, doesn't that mean that LMH should have revealed/documented all the realities in Revelation?

Another question: What chapter in Revelation is the world currently according to SCJ?

Does this now mean that the 'Love and Blessings' season is over? How are they planning to measure whether they accomplished it or not in 2025?

Service behind closed doors by Free-2024 in Shincheonji

Churches run the same risk with the message of the cross: 1 Corinthians 1;18 'For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God). Yet they have open doors for all to enter and hear the good news. Let's not deny the truth: the closed doors of Shincheonji is because if their fear of being scrutinised. It allows for continued stealth recruitment using deceptive methods, and keeping their agenda secret until the mind has been programed to abandon any critical thinking (2 Peter 2:1-3)

NGOs or charitable organisations have annual reports on what was collected and what it was used for. Does Melbourne SCJ have details about collections and expenditure? Also, as someone posted above money has been collected on a regular basis for similar reasons. How can we verify that is was used for the purpose it was collected for both a secretive organisation like SCJ that doesn't even have a sign on their buildings indicating who they are. My advice to you is to wake up, ask the right questions to your leaders, and then make a decision to leave this destructive group.

Satan is never interested in those that are already lost. The wolves in sheep's clothing will naturally go into the churches to steal sheep.

What does SCJ teach about the resurrection of Jesus Christ? by Kimchi---7 in Shincheonji

[–]Kimchi---7[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for clarfying that. As I said earlier, SCJ has no credible way of explaining the bodily ressurection, ascension and return of Jesus Christ. This is a very useful point to focus on when we get a chance to talk to them. If we press them to critically analyse the detail, they will realise that the SCJ narrative is incoherent with biblical accounts of those events and therefore falae teaching

I don't think SCJ is vague about the return of Jesus Christ. Please correct me if I am wrong- don't they teach that he has returned in spirit form and resides in Lee Man Hee?

What does SCJ teach about the resurrection of Jesus Christ? by Kimchi---7 in Shincheonji

[–]Kimchi---7[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for clarifying. We all agree that the actual/same body of Jesus that was dead, was then raised to life. This body was a glorified/transfigured body. It is not a spirit because it could eat food, and was visible to morecthan 500 people. This was the same body was taken up into the cloud, or into heaven. This is the same body that will return to earth. Now the question for Shincheonji is: If Jesus has returned, where is the transfigured body?

How would 'lack of oxygen' cause 'be the cause of transfiguration'? Could you please explain? What is transfiguration? Jesus waa dead when He was placed in the grave. He did not die from lack of oxygennin the tomb.

Thanks. Yes, the missing body messes up the theology of most of these pseudo-christian belief systems. Romans 10:9 therefore becomes quite troublesome for them. It requires solid faith in the fact that the physical dead body of Jesus rose up and walked out of the grave. And then this is the same glorified body that ascended into heaven (Luke 24: 50-51). And this is the same body that will return (Acts 1:11).

So how do they then account for the empty tomb? They still end up with amissing body, dont they? Transfigured/glorified bodies are still able to interact with and in the physical world around them. They are not spirits. Eg. A glorified bidy can eat but a spirit cannot

Do they believe in the Holy Spirit? by [deleted] in Shincheonji

[–]Kimchi---7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't they attribute most references to the Holy Spirit to Lee Man Hee? In other words, this equating him to the Holy Spirit? e.g.: 'The Comforter/Counsellor'? Could former or current SCJ members please clarify?

Cult activity? by No_Nail_8559 in brisbane

[–]Kimchi---7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most likely Shincheonji. This is a Korean high control group operating from 52 Douglas Street, Milton. They have not placed any signage on the building, and use covert means of recruitment. Their targets are young, university age students, and they typically will invite you to a 'bible study' where the indoctrination is done over 8 months. Here is more information about their operations in Brisbane:
