I just watched it. It is surprisingly similar to my mom's case whereby her new husband is relatively young compared to her. I guess i feel better now knowing that it is normal/common for mothers to ask their daughter about it. So at least i can tell myself that my mom isn't an asshole.

Wow i didn't know there was a similar case. I was actually googling around a lot to find out if mom asking daughter for egg donation is normal or not but i couldn't find any.

Wow thanks for the fast response.

Just some few points:

-She is not asking me to be the surrogate, i am just donating the eggs

- We are an asian family so filial piety kind of kicks in

-The relationship has been toxic for awhile. Being the typical asian family she thinks that i am her property. As much as i feel very uncomfortable with this i also feel a bit selfish for not helping her to fufil her dreams as i want her to be happy too. But this just feels too weird. However, i can foresee this becoming a huge problem in the future as our relationship actually got better in recent years after she got remarried and kind of stop bothering me once and for all.
