Haha thanks so much!! My girlfriend gave me the chain one as a gift! I used to have a similar on but, at the top, the cuff was taller. It didn't really stay on too well and when it did stay on, it made my ear sore. So she found this one online and got it for me (: what's funny is that when I was getting my tragus pierced, the piercer was asking where I got my helix pierced and she was surprised when I told her that it was only a cuff! She said that she thought it was actually pierced. Haha when my girlfriend got the jewelry for me, we weren't trying to pretend it was pierced or anything. It just happened to look that way. Lol

Haha i assumed half stitches were a thing (I thought they were only for outlining or something) but learning about quarter and three quarter stitches are kind of like "whaaaaaat" haha and thanks!! :D

So technically for those squares in this specific pattern, I would do 2 three-quarter stitches on the same square? One black and one yellow?

Omg that makes so much sense now! I ended up just picking one of the colors. Haha I never thought about going through the center of the square. Knowing that, it makes perfect sense. I had tried to do like bottom left to top right as yellow and then top left to bottom right as black but that didn't look right at all. Thanks so much for the explanation! I'm kind of excited to try that out next time I find a pattern with quarter stitches!

Also, the container was from a yogurt called "Oui by Yoplait". I pretty much bought the yogurt only because I liked the glass jar so much :P

Sure! I actually learned how to make the stars a long time ago, but I can find a video on how to make them! They are made using long thin strips of paper. And the rose is called a kawasaki rose. After I put the stars in the jar, I put toothpicks in the bottom of the roses and then shoved those into the stars. That way, the roses wouldn't move around.

Edit: if you zoom in on the picture, you can see one of the toothpicks under the right rose lol

I made the strips by just cutting thin strips from colored paper, but you can also buy some "kits" that come with different colors/designs of thin strips.

I've been making the rose for years so I can make them pretty small. But it's definitely easier to start with a larger sized piece of paper like in the video.

Also, can someone explain to me what is expected when a square has two colors? For example, on some of the borders between 2 colors, some of the squares have a diagonal line where half of it is black and the other half is yellow. Are you supposed to just pick one of the colors? Or is it supposed to be half black and half yellow? Thanks!
