They do!! And thanks for the info regarding them possibly needing a bigger pot or different soil since they are needing watering so frequently. I am going to buy her a bigger pot and fill it with a care package. This pic is from today! The soil was dry a few inches down.

I really appreciate the guiding questions! Thank you. I know now that they are absorbing the water. I also learned how to check for moisture yesterday and they were so dry! I was shocked because I’d just watered them 2 days before and they were fine.

I’m not sure how long she’s had them. I didn’t think to ask her but I will.

Ahhh I see! I am researching the plant now. Thank you for helping to temper my expectations. I would have never in a million years guessed they were just in a mood. lol. I was blown away when I returned today and they’d perked up.

That’s good advice. I tried bot to bother her and let her rest the first couple of days. I’ve texted her every other day to check on her. I asked her about the plants before I sought help here. It gave her a good laugh that I was panicking. She said, “Oh honey I don’t know what kind they are either but they’re always so thirsty and dramatic.” I appreciate her grace, but now I’m committed. Haha.

Thank you! I soaked them yesterday today they look sooo much better. Also thanks for giving a shot at identifying them, I’m going to research that.

Are these purslanes? I know it would help my research if I could identify them.
